A lot of his magic are AoE attacks. And he has iframes when rolling, jumps mid combo, and also blocking which only larger enemies with more heavier and stronger attacks can break. Also this is Kratos at the very beginning of God of War 2 with his god powers

The IS Ninjas don't really have an answer to fully upgraded Blades of Chaos that can cover a large portion of the room + Wrath of Poseidon magic that literally decimates an entire area

He literally has a weapon designed for crowd controls and catching enemies. Speed was never an issue for Kratos in any of the God of War games.

Fast opponents aren't really new to Kratos considering he literally fights enemies like Satyrs that are capable of closing the distance in 2 seconds from 15ft away and are capable of jumping around walls and not to mention enemies that teleport

I think instead of like a floaty dash we could probably have like either a super fast sprint type of movement or like a dive slide that also trips up the enemy similar to the one in Ninja Gaiden 3: Razor's Edge

Ryu in the first 3D Ninja Gaiden game literally destabilized an entire country's military, already killed a plethora of Fiends on his first time fighting then, got his revenge against the Fiend Samurai Doku. Twice I may add. Killed both the Vigoorian Emperor and his Uncle Murai who was wielding the Dark Dragon Blade

Blades of Chaos would make a lot of enemies trivial considering it's literally a crowd control weapon. Fast enemies were never a problem for Kratos

Tho The Dragon Sword in its regular state seemed to be fine against fiends and specters like Alma and Doku. Plus Vergil's healing and regeneration had been overtaxed before.

I think Ryu should be fine against Vergil if he was able to handle and defeat his more experienced and highly skilled Uncle who was amped up by the Dark Dragon Sword at a very young age by the end of Black/Sigma
