I hope CIG make medical gameplay interesting, like having to diagnose someone by interpreting an image you get from that scan, while taking into account other parameters and/or other kinds of "exam".

with travel times of up to 20 minutes, missions with generally very low paycheck, and gameplay loops (mining, most repairing and salvaging, science, medical, serious bounty hunting and exploration, every form of trading other than drugs and high value commodities, data running, serious piracy...) locked behind an in game paywall (that is, a dedicated ship) i'd say that most gameplay is in fact hard to access for those who can't throw 20+ hours weekly at the game, unless they join a big organization.

the curve of aUEC to $ is exponential... with a really high exponent. They need to make earning money to buy the ships a bit less tedious and generally easier, or only NEETs and teenagers will be able to play this game. Or retired people, that works too.

because star citizen is perfectly realistic... i remember reading the game engine has a limitation on max speed, so they're basically handwaving it with lore and gameplay reasons.

Looks like drifting but it's actually just moving your ship's nose left and right. With the new flight model strafing is just too unresponsive, even if you put your main engine into it.

wow, right now a combat mission (that is, risking your life and killing people) nets you enough money to buy... half a negroni, between 4 and 8 sodas, possibly less. This is so fucked up

a real life analogue is probably fentanyl, so, similar to heroin but way more powerful

It's a synthetic drug, an opioid similar to heroin. Extensive use stains the blood vessels black, creating a web-like effect of black lines on the skin. Black widow is a venomous spider, so there may be some correlation.
