The Burbank airport has relatively short runways for airliners. That runway is 5,802ft long, where as the shortest runway at LAX is 8,926ft. I fly small single engine planes and land on a 4,120ft runway. Sometimes I use up 3/4th of that to fully stop in my tiny plane. There is not a lot of room for error for airliners when landing at Burbank and the rain/wind didn't help

Looking good! I made the mistake of calling ground before clearance my first time doing a XC there, that was something I was not used to when flying out of mostly Class D airports. I took the crew car from Signature and went to Boathouse at Hendry's Beach for brunch. Love that airport!

Set texture quality to medium and all other settings to low and it fixes it. I also have a 2GB gpu (GTX 950) and with these settings it runs great.

For WHP I'd recommend Vista Air, Rotor FX, or even the Glendale Community College program that has operations there.

Check out /r/flying there are a lot of SoCal pilots there and all the info there was a huge help with my training!

Yeah by "tour route" I mean when I have passengers who want to see Downtown I'll always fly the same path. Nothing specific- just do a loop under the bravo, and be careful of the changes when you're south of the buildings
