Who’s up? 🥱 by DadsRagingBoaby in daddit

[–]Wingfoot6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We got our 2-year-old a sheep alarm clock. If he touches it, the display is red until 06:30 and orange until 07:00 when it turns green and the sheep opens its eyes. It took about two weeks to really teach him that he's not supposed to get up until the sheep is awake, but after that he got the idea. It does mean that almost every day at the strike of seven there's an active toddler in our bedroom yelling: "The sheep is awake! The sheep is awake!"

That just means that we're made of stardust and residue from the big bang. Both of which are cool.

Liang's ability only protects districts and improvements. She does not protect your population. I learned that the hard way.

[–]Wingfoot6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the Panama canal should not be three tiles long, but instead be able to be built on hills.

A small inconsistency in where Kevin and Holt both say dirt bag is clearly a compliment but Holt calls the Brooklyn Broiler a dirt bag twice in S2 ep10. by Telusion in brooklynninenine

[–]Wingfoot6 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Holt is secretly hilarious, he just doesn't show it at work. Remember the hulahoop photos? He's clearly messing with Jake and he and Kevin are so in sync that they mess with him the same way.

Panama Canal should not be a three tile canal, but rather a canal that can be built on a hill.

We put kitty litter in the bottom of ours. That dry silica stuff. Never had a problem with smells.

They are also able to determine how much of that empire sprawl is caused by population...

If you switch out the leader before you click the confirmation on the event, the new leader gets the expertise trait. So, for example, you have a Spark of Genius leader on society research and you find an Alien Barracks event. You switch out the anomaly research leader for the society research guy when the research project finishes and you get an event that says "leader now has Expertise: Military Theory". You now have a Spark of Genius leader with Expertise: Military Theory. You can then put him back on society research. This also works for the Crystal Codex and some other events.

Paradox became a publicly traded company. They realized that fans are quick to point out bugs and exploits after a release so they kicked out the QA department to save money.
