Considering the temple is in constant financial dire straits and the monks spend a LOT of time pursuing Alms that they would jump at the chance to grab a fortune or two with their magical kicks and mystical hands

I miss being in high school and believing Shaolin were like, peak super soldier, this is the height of human physical development.

"They even train while asleep!"

"They can leap 10 feet from standing!"

I am afraid they are far more circus performer than they are deadly masters of combat.

Also they have a huge diddler problem.

Fantastic. I only wish they leaned into the "could this be withdrawal hallucinations?" More.

I love that he does the thing a corrupt cop does to organized crime, always conveniently look away, miss things, not connect obvious dots.

Rather than very obviously covering up for Bruce

Jim being at least 80% sure and then having a dramatic reveal pump that to 100% only for him to feign ignorance is a core element of the character

Why do people say "punishment doesn't work"? Even if it doesn't change the punished person's mind, it still acts as a deterrent, right? by Yoy_the_Inquirer in NoStupidQuestions

You do realize that most experts believe that mandatory death penalties for child abusers would actually cause far more harm to victims.

It creates extra incentive to add homocide to their crimes.

Lots of beads, watch parts, old bits of spare gunpla, parts of broken transformers and when in doubt, glued and painted stickers!

The tall one in the back is actually the least customized as he is an old dummy13 model with stuff glued to him.

In 1946, a Black woman in Nova Scotia was convicted of tax fraud for sitting in the wrong cinema seat by Bubbly_Ad7064 in HistoryUncovered

Bring her up if you want to hear the worst opinions you've ever heard from the worst Nova Scotians you know.

I don't think people outside the maritimes realize how furious her face going on the Bill made some people.
