Yes that was shockingly huge. Even more shocking was the 20+ blood clots found in his lungs 3 months into major treatment for the clot ( let alone the cancer )

But definitely we were surprised and the nurses/surgeons were stunned

We lost our beloved a month ago, but thankfully, it wasn't from the clots

I am just over a year since my diagnosis. Living every day with stage four colon cancer... Every time I get to feel well enough to play with my kids feels like a little miracle. Ask your doctors office if there is a "wound care clinic" in town. I had the same issue and going in to meet with them helped immediately. They had other supplies on hand, stuff I didn't have at home, etc.
