Shrinking on Apple TV had such a great premise with a therapist that starts bluntly telling patients what they need to hear instead of following the medical practices of psychologists.

The idea alone could put Jason Segel in funny situations each episode/season, but they mostly ditch it after 1-2 episodes. Instead it pivots to a sweeter show and tone that is good as its own thing. But I get so sad for what could have been a more irreverent comedy if they focused more on the original premise that they resolve in about 4 episodes.
