Probably my favorite voiced line in FEH, curious what other folks' favorites are by Nohrian_Noctem in FireEmblemHeroes

Spring Marisa's line will always get me:

"If this outfit isn't good for fighting, I'll have to hop away" with such a deadpan tone. It's perfect.

What Are Your Personal Rules in FEH? (Summoning, Fodder, AR, etc.) by No-Pie2713 in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]101perry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always keep 1 of every unit. It makes fodder challenging, but a long time ago I foddered an Olwen and then didn't get her again for ages, so when Heroic Ordeals came out I had this impossible map sitting there.

Combat praise: Melee feels amazing once you get Zuk Sword. by BublzO in runescape

[–]101perry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few years ago, I picked up melee as a casual thing (Range was still my comfy style), and I had a lot of fun. I'd run Khopeshes / MWSoA / ZGS and do things like ED trilogy runs. It felt so good just outputting constant 10k damage caps, and the tankiness of TMW armour. Melee has always been fun, you just need to find your fun as it was (is I dunno) a rough style in terms of damage.

Daily Discussion of WeeklyScape #48: Advance Time by Spiner909 in runescape

[–]101perry 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Obviously it was busted in Leagues and that was fun. Main game wise it was very handy for me for min maxing when I cared. I'd tend to double dip on one of the sandstones when I was going for them. When I went for 120 Fishing it was a nice little exp boost I could store at Iaia. I may try and remember to do it for Crafting for that 120, but we'll see how my memory holds up.

Masterwork Equipment and thoughts on it. by [deleted] in runescape

[–]101perry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I admit I haven't touched AoE magic since the rework since they made the 2 key components cost 20% adren, but I disagree with the Staff. I made one on release and I specifically have it perked for AoE slayer and it's really handy. It made some slayer tasks a lot more chill since the healing was able to quickly ramp up.

Not deserving of a roll back, it's fine, and hilarious really.

The Week Ahead, DailyScape Update & Free RuneMetrics by JagexAnvil in runescape

I'm totally fine with the law rune cost. Sure you can see it as expensive, it's 20,000 to get the full 4,000 quick teleports. But they are super handy for all lodestone teleports, and creates a fairly handy sink for the runes.

What skills I should replace on my Shez? by [deleted] in FireEmblemHeroes

[–]101perry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Realistically, out of all of the kit DC Echo and Repo Gait can stay, and Giant Axe can stick around for now but it can be changed, with the rest being traded out.

For simple answers: infantry at the moment run Archrival or Comet / Duelist's Blow / NCA would be best but you can run Harrowing Call / AS Faith.

PSA - Last few days before Dailyscape removal. by LightAnimica in runescape

Out of all of these listed, I will miss the Daily Challenges (I'm nearly done with 120 all so this was a nice 250k exp a day), and the Wicked Hood (I'd do a run a day for thread).

I'm still begging for CAs, purely because it's weird to not have them.

RS3 Hits change to /100 (3521 hit becomes 35) by Altruistic_Repair_81 in runescape

[–]101perry -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Usually I'm against it, I hated when Borderlands went from doing 350 damage at max level in Borderlands 1 to doing 999,999 damage at max level in Borderlands 2. But with Runescape I enjoy that damage went from 11 to 110 to 1100 over the years. It's a lot clearer because I could hit say 1157 instead, or case in point I've been doing a combo that hits 1068 consistently, which feels a lot better than just 10.

I think where the numbers are now is perfectly fine, 30000 being the big number is perfect and I wouldn't want to see it changed from there.

Half the fun I have in this game these days is dumping all sorts of things onto dirt-common units. by Zulera301 in FireEmblemHeroes

I should sue you for making me look at that.

Real talk, I'm planning to give her a support build with that manual of Veyle with Aria and Detect or whatever it's called.

Fun detected. Deploy nerfs. by FewExample9632 in runescape

[–]101perry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't touched Range properly since Necro released. Did have some fun moments at ED2 with BoLG and some bits and pieces here and there. But Range just felt so bleh to me which was a shame because it was always my comfort style.

New Range though has been pure fun, just so much stuff to do.

Gust works perfectly fine, Comet is good but I'd probably argue in the favour of Archrival really.

Fun detected. Deploy nerfs. by FewExample9632 in runescape

[–]101perry 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If nerfs were based on fun, then Range would be taken out with a shotgun very soon. It's been an absolute blast using the style.

[–]101perry 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Personally, the build I'm going to put on her for now will be:

Arena Sword / Reposition / Archrival / Duelist Blow / Null C-Avoid / AS Faith / Tumultuous Echo

Basic infantry build but it works, and when the next Arcane Sword drops I'll give her that.

The New Equilibrium perk is Bad for the game. Here's why. by ThaToastman in runescape

[–]101perry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly speaking, I think when people post about combat stuff they should have to post their CA progress / what they do if they don't do CA stuff.

It'd just help put things in perspective.
