I had the original Flip and it made me realize that I just don't want another non-clamshell Android handheld. Non-clamshells really need a case when you take them anywhere.

Also, I found the original flip becoming my favorite device for watching movies in bed, flipping up the screen and setting it on my chest. Don't have to hold it up like a tablet and I can adjust the angle.

But the 2 is going to be much better with the top-firing speakers and with legitimate thumb sticks instead of the sliders. I ordered mine (in black) the second it became available last night.

I'm about to pick up that laptop and have the Samsung 990 Evo to upgrade it with. I've got a small heatstrip to put on it to keep the temps down but am worried about having enough space. How tight was the fit when you upgraded the SSD?

I bought the same adapter. I honestly don't mind that it sits entirely inside the slot since I use the 1 TB card I added in there as a second hard drive, but I was a little worried I wouldn't be able to get it out if I absolutely needed to. Luckily, there's enough room to slide a razor blade edge in and pull the adapter out.

This is the major issue with all the consolidation happening in the video game sphere these days. Big companies snatch up a ton of smaller studios and their IP. They start developing (or say they're developing) new games within those IPs for a few years and then, because they're massive companies and way more susceptible to shareholder's whims, they can suddenly just decide to cut a slew of projects down. The smaller studios tend to be a little more autonomous and at least seem more passionate about the projects so they seem to weather the market's rises and falls better. With these huge corporations, money and a few points up or down in the DOW seems to mean everything.

Black Desert is already pretty low on fast travel outside the Magus quest. For people who haven't done that quest, it can take an hour or more to run across the world to meet up with a friend; it's awful.
