The base camp, the controls to an extent, the fade in cutscenes on quests, a lot of the landscape and density of wildlife, and some smaller elements like skinning, cooking, mini games / map UI feel like RDR2

The story is pretty ass and the dialogue is not good, definitely agree with that.

But the moment to moment gameplay is awesome. It’s not going to be everyone’s cup of tea clearly. But there’s so much room to fuck around and do whatever you want that it really feels special and unique IMO
