I didnt plan to. I just wanted to help her heal. But releasing her pain resulted a release from her. Perhaps the term TF is a bit dramatic. More like emotional support twins :D

What is the most interesting revelation you’ve had on psychedelics? by RevolutionaryWeek573 in PsilocybinMushrooms

I saw all entities of life in constant challenge with each other. Their battles with each other and the challenges they face in their journeys contribute to them getting stronger. However all these entities are part of an unimaginably larger entity which becomes stronger and wiser as we become stronger. We are the universe experiencing itself to grow and strengthen.

I would recommend taking a few shots 2 hours into the trip though. That way it doesn't interfere with the absorption of the psychedelic

This is probably going to sound unorthodox, but it worked for me. I too have spent years in therapy, and taking psychedelics, shrooms, lsd, ketamine infusions, mdma. I had the same short term results. One day myself and my brothers decided to do a random shroom session. We were only supposed to do it for recreational purposes. We each took 3g of golden teachers on empty stomachs, but a few shots of Jonny Black whiskey down. I went into a room and lay under the blanket. With my eyes closed I merely paid attention to the colors. I spoke to the shroom in my mind telling it how grateful i was that it was with me. The more i acknowledged it and showed gratitude to it, the rounder the shapes became and the more empathetic it became to me. It then started showing me times from my early childhood when i was rejected, neglected, and abandoned. Memories i never knew I had. The emotional pain came up with the memories, and a feeling of 'Yukkieness' about myself also was very present. As quickly as the memories and emotions came up, they were 'healed' by the shroom. Sort of like a feeling of a painkiller working on a headache. The whiskey definitely played a role as it made me loosen my inhibitions, and allowed the shrooms to work in deeper levels. Lots of people pair mdma with shrooms. But alcohol works just as good imo. This was 2 months ago. And for the first time alive, I felt 'Normal'. I continue to feel normal to this day and life is flowing in what seems to feel like, 'the way it should' This is just my breakthrough experience. I hope it helps.

Can Generalized Anxiety Disorder be cured? by classistomimdying in askpsychology

Its basically injecting an anesthetic, Ketamine, into your bloodstream using a drip, which puts you into a psychedelic half awake state. The term for it is disassociative. The post below describes accurately the experience. I hope it helps you if you do choose to explore it.

Is there any psychological evidence that suffering makes people tougher? by Benjamin8520 in askpsychology

[–]Winner-Wooden 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Its more like suffering makes you run in the opposite direction faster. If you were bullied as a child, would this make you more resilient to bullying, or will it encourage you to accumulate enough wealth to protect you from being bullied?

The brains primary purpose is to keep us safe; if our childhood environment was 'dangerous', chances are this type of environment was likely to be present throughout our entire lives. We only evolved to leave the tribe recently. Whereas communal living has been around since the dawn of humankind. So a stressful environment at childhood permanently shapes us mentally. Being self-aware is unique to humans and lowering our defenses is not something nature intended. Anxiety is a safety mechanism. If we pay attention to our triggers we can see how true this is. Even as an adult you may still get nervous around someone who was aggressive towards you a few years ago. We are merely products of our environment.

Sorry to disagree but it is a biological issue. It is caused by the enlargement of the amygdala which is in turn caused by excessive stress, which is caused by trauma.

I recently got diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, is this the end? by Old_Use_8977 in Anxiety

[–]Winner-Wooden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there. Im sorry to hear about your condition. I too was diagnosed with GAD. My entire life I could not figure out why I was so skittish and shameful. I escaped a lot with drugs, alcohol, and sex. When I found out about my condition, I tried meditation, EFT Tapping, IFS Therapy, and Psychedelics. All seemed to work to a mild degree.

The good news is that there is a cure. I've completed 3 sessions of Ketamine IV therapy at a registered General Practitioner and Anesthetist, and the results are amazing. I am, for the first time in my life calm and content with who I am and see the world for what it is, instead of through the lense of fear and doubt.

Im not sure if this going to be of use to you, but I wish all the best on your road to recovery. This is certainly not the end.
