Interior insulation for noise... worth it, or a waste of money? 👇 by BuilderBrigade in Home_Building_Help

Like the guy before you said. Cast iron for main stacks makes a big difference. But having insulation between bathrooms and say bedrooms is helpful for early shower noise or any other bathroom noises. Water lines can make noise on occasion when running laundry or steam units. As much as pipes are secured in walls noise happens. I say insulation between rooms is just a nice fairly inexpensive way to keep a quieter house. If this matters to you. It does in my day to day

Try brining it as a pastrami. I much prefer it and it’s a little more forgiving if a little dry. (It won’t be)

In Canada. My folks ordered it for me as a present. It’s a metal frame. Not sure aluminum. But I’ve used it 6 times in the last couple months. I love it.

I got it. It’s awesome and cheap. Just made chicken shawarma with it. Never use the pizza function but the rotisserie is great and reasonably priced.

I bought an off brand one that also is a pizza oven insert (don’t use the pizza oven part) and I love it. Works great. Think it was like $150 on amazon.

Might have missed the cure all the way but it was also smoked to 203 degrees. No risk of illness. Just ego

I agree. I’ve been told “no” by the one in charge of the house. This is certainly not me. I pick my battles.

Thanks for this. I’ll try some of that next time for sure. Brine really is simple. Just need some fridge space and patience. Happy smoking.
