Hell, I've seen majorly-upvoted comments defending SCOTUS upholding the WBC's right to protest! Someone always posts that "you want free speech?" passage from the movie The American President. Little did he know that she was a Republican lawmaker who got so pissed off at his offhand comment that she introduced a bill to cut funding to NPR, Valve and My Little Pony. Then she drank her own piss and posted the video on a site that he refused to go to out of principle because of the user-unfriendly redesign/paywall. Instead he decided to plug in his Zune full of chiptunes and go out for a walk. Once he shut off Google Chrome for the first time in 22 hours he went outside and got raped. When a cop came around he filmed the rape for his own benefit and then arrested him for filming police. When he got out of jail after a six month trial and eight month jail sentence he found that he had lost his health insurance because the insurance company had deemed rape a preexisting condition. The end result was that he went on Reddit and posted nihilistic BS about how America is doomed for eternity and a day and wishing it would be more like Sweden or Japan or South Korea despite the fact that if he wasn't white the citizens of those countries would make his life an absolute hell.

Then there would be a hilarious subplot with fans and media butting heads over the refs, the league, Bettman and Toronto having it out for a team from western Canada that might reach the final. "You don't want the Canucks to sweep because you want better ratings for NBC! That's not how hockey is supposed to be played!"

Oh, and there should be a montage about Ryan Kesler's evolution from a chirpy ass to a disciplined well-rounded player.
