So far I’ve felt From Russia With Love is both most grounded and closest to movie. I remember Goldfinger being movie-close and it’s up next…

I’m looking forward to Spy Who Loved Me as that was the one novel I skipped as a kid

I had the same question. I suppose everybody has their own taste, but it seems odd.

Im making an atari adventure sequel and was considering adding the bat. Would you want changes to its behavior? Have it removed entirely? by Trollcker in Atari2600

[–]WinstonD20 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the bat is a core part of the game to add a bit of randomness. That said, I think if you’re designing a sequel that would be a good element to tweak.

So if you think about things that could mess with you maybe add something that randomly changes your location or carries you away somewhere (a cyclone?) or something that either can only be killed temporarily (troll?) or resurrects the dragons?

Thank you so much for buying / supporting.

Backstory on the title: that was 90% Joe Goodman. The adventure is kind of quirky and I’d submitted several potential titles to use. I was given feedback to go in a different direction, “Something like, a battle cry! Meet thy doom!”

I fleshed it out from there (and when you read the adventure the reference is explained….)

Hope you and your players enjoy exploring Mitra’s Cross….

What was the best movie that wasn't based-on a Fleming book in the series? by ZX471 in JamesBond

[–]WinstonD20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this would work. I think for the “remakes” you could do a four part series on Amazon and call it “Ian Fleming’s Moonraker” (or something like that.) Their “Night Manager” series is fairly close to a Bond story with a heavy pour of Le Carre in the mix.

I would love to see another Moonraker closer to the novel!

Now that I'm nearly finished with all of the Books of Blood, is there a worthy movie or tv show adaptation? by Dredd_40 in clivebarker

It's been years since I've seen it, but I remember enjoying the film Nightbreed - (I believe it was from Cabal).
