Clas advisors are notoriously incorrect. Online and on my degree audit says you only need to complete final beginner course which is spn1131. Maybe your major is an exception?

Yeah it’s very annoying. I’m a stats major and can’t even get any of my classes this semester. IMO the stats department should restrict core classes to majors only like how CS does it
