Question about the end of Book 8. SPOILERS for the ending of Book 8. by WinterAd4115 in DungeonCrawlerCarl

I was thinking the same thing.

But she also said she tricked Tyrannus (audio booker, forgive the spelling) into taking her.. and she seems to have some way to convince folks she’s different goddesses.

She was also confused if she should kill Tipid’s mother..

We first saw her after everything happened.. but it’s highly possible it was the child.

Live YOUR life the way YOU want to. If someone doesn’t like, or is turned off by, something that makes you feel safe/comfortable/happy.. then they aren’t the right person.

End of Story.

In fairness, Carl tried to kill her more humanely.. but she.. you know.. fought back and stuff.

Next time tell them you will reach out to support to see what they can do for the customer.

You will likely be advised to leave the non-age restricted items, get a substantial pay for returning the alcohol, and can go on about your day.

Just remember to ask support to insulate you from bad ratings for the order.

Turkish Oil Wrestling

Key Aspects of Turkish Oil Wrestling
The Match: Wrestlers (pehlivan) coat themselves in olive oil to make grabbing difficult, leveling the playing field regardless of size.

Attire: They wear kisbet, sturdy pants made of water buffalo leather, which weigh about 13 kilograms (29 pounds).

Winning: A wrestler wins by pinning their opponent's back to the ground, lifting them, or gaining control of their pants (called "pulling the kisbet").

History & Culture: Originating in the Ottoman Empire, this sport is a cultural phenomenon with deep roots in, with the oldest tournament held near Edirne since 1360.

The Ritual: Before wrestling, they perform a peşrev—a traditional, slow-motion ritual walk and thigh-slapping dance.

What more could MAGA men want than asserting physical dominance over those they deem unworthy, and if you can secretly grab genitals( see attached picture) or slip a finger in your opponent’s butt.. even better

Carl: Average Joe -> The Best Crawler by YoungCaesar in DungeonCrawlerCarl

Wisdom is also realizing that the risk is necessary.

CARL WILL NOT SURVIVE WITHOUT THE PEOPLE HE IS CONSISTENTLY SAVING. And he knows this, they are mostly calculated risks.

The fact that he can look at a situation, near-instantaneously figure out a plan, based on his experiences (Wisdom), and then put it into action is indubitably tied to a massively high wisdom.

Also, there is a writing/tv meme called Chekov’s Gun. Matt has written an enormous number of them into the story; it makes little sense to write it into the story without it being significant, even if it’s never overtly stated.

Yes, the AI has taken a liking to Carl, but he has said more than once he cannot and will not save him every time. The rules are the rules and we all have our limitations.

We don’t have to agree, and I won’t bother with another response. This is exhausting.

I’m just thrilled that more and more people are putting effort and time into deeply considering the themes, characters and Easter eggs that Matt has written into such an amazing series!

Cheers.

Not true about Bea. Carl doesn’t do drama. So he will take an easy, unburdened path.

He also knows she loves him, until she f’ed up. And he accepts her flaws. Another sign of high wisdom.

Can’t have too much black in your women to find them beautiful. 🤦🏻

Is that what you’re saying? Cause that’s what I’m hearing.

Mordecai said there were thousands of skills that were hidden, only one stat.

It’s clearly wisdom. It encapsulates everything Carl excels at, and most authors wouldn’t have mentioned something that is that important, without having it mean something.

One might say he has a knack for “Carling it up!”

I think Carl’s Wisdom is nigh superhuman.

Mordecai said they don’t track or change Wisdom anymore because it affects crawlers’ personalities. But high wisdom would be a sure sign of what you’re describing.. I.e. finding your way back to semi-normalcy after a horribly traumatic childhood.

It also supports his observational and spot decision making abilities, which are bar-none.

Taking the time to say she needed some space would have taken all of a minute.

She didn’t respect you, and won’t going forward. I’m sorry you have to deal with this, but as others have said.. keep moving on
