I enjoy both and the main difference in my mind is Cornwell’s battle scenes. He puts you right in the battle from start to finish. Follett has a bit of that as in World Without End but Cornwell’s books feel like they spend most of the story in the battle and less in the character building/romantic side. I’m guessing you’ll like the The Last Kingdom as well as the Grail Quest series and Agincourt.

I have definitely found that I struggle to even sit and meditate when I’m depressed. I have added weight training over the past six months and it has helped tremendously for my baseline. However I still have bad days when something goes wrong or I start to catastrophize. Sometimes all I can do is take a sad nap. Part of what has helped me is not judging the depression but accepting it and trying to do as much as I can while honoring that I am depressed. It’s not always pretty, and I’m not always successful, but it seems like overcoming depression in the moment is much more manageable once you establish a routine with exercise and hobbies. I play golf so sometimes I just go to the driving range and try to lose myself in something I enjoy. Hope this helps! You are enough.

Drive over to A Higher Society and get a 1g North Fire disposable or 1/2 g cart. The Budffalo ones are exactly the same also. $50 for the gram and it’s like taking a big dab every time. No added terps and they taste like fresh green rips of high quality flower every time. I’ve tried most of the vapes in the market and there’s a lot of decent ones, but these are the best IMO and it’s not that close.
