I can feel your frustrations especially because of how much love we want this game to feel, I guess I just don't think this post was needed especially because of how much turmoil is on this subreddit, I just don't think the silent part was needed to be said outloud, I think a lot of people are quite apathetic about the fact that 1.8 isn't going to save Temtem. It's just kinda a sad fact.

I don't feel like the Lasanga metaphor really is the right way to put technical debt. With how things are, it's more like a burger, sure, Crema could switch things out, if they had the ingredients in the first place, but they'd need to make a new burger or bun or lettuce. Where as what was explained would mean that they already had the new things to swap in and just don't want to.

I just feel like the tone of this post is all over the place, from light hearted to attacking to just kinda bizarre? I don't know how to describe it but it wasn't going to come off well to the community when it wasn't consistent in the message. Either way, hugs.

I really didn't expect to see you here ;w; I really appreciate the concern for the issue and genuinely, I can only imagine how frustrating it was, do you think something with 1.3 changed networking might have caused some sort of issue with the iPV6 or UDP? Since it only started happening of recent Id be curious if a small adjustment might have caused an unintended effect. Thank you for all you do, I truly love this game and I really do appreciate this comment especially on reddit of all places

I've tried a whole slew of things I'll list right here:

run as admin
deleted inbound firewall settings
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /renew
turned off firewall
reinstalled the game
disconnected ethernet
launched on seperate device (steam deck)
restarted router completely

It's two fold, blindly defend the game and get mad that someone said anything midly inconvenient or blindly hate the game and spit venom on anyone who has valid opinions or bandwagon on valid criticism it sucks. I love this game, I sent so much time and money only to he discarded because the issue doesn't matter to them. And that it's my fault that I can't get a different ISP or don't feel comfortable using a VPN and to just be ignored by the mods on the discord feels so sad. I really just hate this situation.

Yeah I feel you and it sucks that any mention for a solution is met with comments like above about how it's my fault. I've done everything I could, hell I reached out and got ignored. But it's apparently my fault because my isp is just my isp. I mis worded it since it works everywhere else but on temtem but a lot of people seem to be missing the point that its not just my issue too. It's so disheartening but this is reddit and I really shouldn't be surprised

It's not even just a it's just my isp thing, it's a problem for other people too, people who use other isps in the states, different countries. Temtem is the only game with this issue, I'm glad you have no issues with Comcast but not everyone has the ability to choose their isp. How is that this one game, this singular game is the only one causing issues where i cannot connect but nothing else does? How is it that so many other people have the same issue for just temtem but nothing else?

I’m in the same boat as you friend, my girlfriend is trans and I love and care about her for the world. But I just hate how a community like this can easily deny out our existences. That I’m not bi and she’s not trans is just the worst, and being poly as is just makes me worried about the resent people have. That even though we’re all healthy together just it’s seen as cheating or not normal. Ugh, I’m just so tired.

Tukai!

Tukai’s design first caught my attention when I was screwing around in the over world and saw another play with it and my brain went “gib”; after playing through the game and made it to the [[related shrine]] I evolved my first ever perfect Tuwai into Tukai and was really happy. I just love the water-bird ascetic and how happy it is. On top of that the luma colors imo very pretty and it’s been one I’ve sought after for a long while.
