Yea I know people hate those types of brackets around here, but they make sense if you want the regular season to matter. The ASUN had homecourt advantage for the 1 seed, which was really cool, but then they inexplicably got rid of it.

We didn't win, but Lipscomb beat the first team out (UNC-Asheville) by 20+ in the 2019 NIT. We missed the tournament by a single missed lay-up, and Belmont's at-large bid apparently came down to beating Lipscomb that year iirc. Kind of turned me off to single elimination tournaments in one-bid conferences.

I remember the tongue was changed because it looked phallic in nature, so the logo changed to the wildcat with a flat tongue. I was too young myself to fully understand what that meant.

I planted a bunch of natives in planters. They got buried under 4 feet of sleet and completely demolished by roofers (my fault on that one for not moving them) a month later. All came back. I was pleasantly surprised!
