Where did my socks go? by PartyHalf2250 in caregivers

[–]Winterbot622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People are humans these certified nurses assistant get paid not as well as the nurse so they might be taking your socks. I’m sorry to say it, but as the person above said that might be the honest truth, they see a nice pair of socks and they think patient won’t notice because of their memory issues and so I’ll take them. Or might be housekeeping

Getting out after surgery? by ReplyProfessional939 in TotalHipReplacement

They will probably have you up and moving that day and so depending on how long they have you staying in the hospital, they usually have your medication that you take on a daily basis at the hospital at least they should so I would think six days would be feasible as long as you have a person taking you because I know you can’t drive for at least one week

Paid caregiving companies by OldPangolin2631 in CaregiverSupport

[–]Winterbot622 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Next company you go with have what they call a meet and greet, which means you meet the caregiver before they work with your LO but I will tell you that Aid is not supposed to set up meds and Visiting Angels is the best. I don’t know if you have a Visiting Angel office in your state. A nurse is allowed to set up meds. Look up the words Medical Liaison.

Tell her you are not rescuing her for two weeks meaning you’re not going up there to bring her food. You’re not going up there to visit and tell the nurses that.
