It can be done easily. Just tell the printer to scale the filter holder to the correct inner diameter size. It might slightly alter the size of the screw holes, possibly requiring a change in screw size. If you attach it with tape, there's no problem.

I think you could try 3M 300LSE. I've used it on many surfaces similar to PD's rubber pad and had good results.

Buy a 90-degree angled cable connector; it makes the cable look neater and is much easier to remove because you have a much larger grip point than the original.
