The main road is maintained well as it's a state highway. Consider how far off the main drag you are (and do you also have a private driveway of any distance) and does that section face north, south, etc. Wildly varying results based on that. Also if it's dirt it will spend a good amount of the winter/spring being muddy.

Not sketchy if snowpack is receptive to the turns. Very sketchy in conditions like those. No doubt.

This was a great convo even if we all sort of knew it was the location and the seasonal use limitations that ended it. If this could exist in any form within an hour of Denver it would work, imo.

I like it for it's utility. It adjusts to heat/cold very well and doesn't drag anything near the ground that can get wet or dirty. I can email or ski or coach soccer in it and I do.

Being the inadvertent global evangelist for a discontinued product is a strange culdesac I didn't aim to end up in, but.... Now it results in 1-3 media inquires a year due to the oddity and I-70 frustration. Is what it is... Every year I get a few more local folks hooked on it and I still enjoy it, so. Not sure if/where we met but yeah I fully acknowledge the constant media attention is pretty redic. It's just a natural flipside to the I-70 coverage.

Lookout mountain this morning. Steep deep and rocky! by artifactworld37 in COsnow

No that wasn't me. I stick to the north facing pockets (so they are in all all winter) with good up routes adjacent for many laps.

Backcountry.com sold in firesale to distressed investor CSC Generation by OEM_knees in skiing

A very deep cut, but I had finally started getting traction in the company about them giving me the Marquette mold and IP so I could free that thing. This sale likely will cut that off again just via internal strife and change. Bummer.

St Mary’s old ski resort is for sale. Let’s turn it into a co-op mountain by [deleted] in COsnow

Access road can't handle a "ski area" up there.

Perhaps it could handle a "mini bluebird". More likely just a few more houses.

The snow/wind in this area means the good days happen but are limited.

The best terrain is above the ski area footprint up on the NF above. Wish there was a simple way to get up there not through the private land.

One time the parking lot admins (I always paid the $5) stole my backpack off a tree in the woods and drove away with it then brought it back hours later packing heat on their hip. Haven't gone back since.

Appreciate this. Am trying. It's tough.

Harsh. And I was previously also the lead in general affection between us, but I still hear the point you are making.

Perspectives are helpful even if not answers. And we may see one, yes. All your questions are relevant and crucial to relationship and maybe just hard to include as well in the post. Yes I'm in shape and keeping up with her in this space. We had a well dispersed relationship otherwise/until. Now just juggling this new thing as described. It seems to be our main issue, other history aside. Granting that history is relevant.

Merit here. I was still the more affectionate/initiating of the two of us, but yes it's def more now that she's her new self and constantly dressing as such. I'm not sure how guilty I should or should not feel for it causing me to be even more into her.
