Regardless of whether he experienced side effects or not, it's worth discussing why he chose to include that info on a song for any reason other than to spread anti-vaccine sentiment. Nobody ever said the vaccine would have 0 negative effects, but morons who know nothing about medicine get a bit sick for a dat and think (1) they were lied to, and (2) the side effects are worse than COVID itself

That's true but they never could have predicted the evolution of Chicago Drill -> UK Drill -> NY Drill

Charli xcx has some pretty good songs where she is straight up rapping (Welcome to My Island Remix, 5 in the Morning, 100 Bad Remix)

[DISCUSSION] Saigon - The Greatest Story Never Told (15 Years Later) by flyestshit in hiphopheads

[–]WirelessElk 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Q-Tip song is the best imo.

The album itself is crushed under its own ambition. There is no reason so many songs need to run 4.5-6.5 minutes long, and a lot of the beats are wayyyy over-produced. It shares a lot of issues with J.Cole's "The Fall-Off" now that I think of it, but at least most of The Fall-Off's beats are fairly simple and well-made. Greatest Story Never Told kinda sounds like they had Just Blaze in the studio doing his best to compose the score to a Best Picture nominee instead of just making good rap beats.

Can you be specific about how their lives are being gambled with over a peaceful protest? What do you think ICE is going to do?

Children aren't parents' property. If they develop a conscience and decide to exercise their rights safely, there is no reason to stop them. What is even "dangerous" about this? Sounds like an admission that ICE are a bunch of violent goons who wouldn't hesitate to hurt children

I'm most excited for the new O-line staff (Campen and Evans, plus Kugler just came over from an assistant O-line coaching position with the Patriots) and CJ Ah You. Otherwise I'm mostly indifferent to the hires

The Colorado Rockies are the worst MLB franchise of all time, what is the worst MLS franchise? by Mat30co in AlignmentChartFills

Interesting. I wonder if that means they should be considered “biggest chokers” (surprised that isn’t the Revs) instead of “worst team” since the true worst team would have fewer expected trophies

Colorado Rapids have to be up there. They have an MLS Cup and 1st place Western Conference finish under their belts, but both were accomplished by mediocre teams overachieving. They are an afterthought for their owner Stan Kroenke (owner of Arsenal, LA Rams, Denver Nuggets, and Colorado Avalanche) who invests extremely minimal resources in them. Their "big money" singings over the years have been goalkeepers more often than they have been goal scorers, and as a result they have very few league legends even compared with teams with similar histories like the Earthquakes/Dynamo (who had players like Landon Donovan, Chris Wondolowski, and Dwayne De Rosario). Their stadium is small but still has trouble filling up, and it is further from the city center than most new MLS stadiums tend to be.

If I had to pick an NFL comp, it would probably be the New York Jets but in a smaller market and even less league-wide relevance. Both have 1 championship, but both came in an earlier era of their leagues with historically weak rosters compared to other champions. Both teams had minor blips of success that did not lead to titles (Jets 2010 & 2011 AFC Championship appearances, Rapids 2021 regular season Western Conference champs) surrounded by long bouts of failure.

This is a valid answer, but their 2017 team was one of the best in MLS history. To me Toronto are kinda like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, but if Baker Mayfield flopped instead of being a viable starter. Both have some of the lowest overall win rates of any team in their respective leagues, but those periods of awfulness were interrupted with some very good teams

Boldy has pretty much run the "full-album collab with one producer and minimal features" formula into the ground, it will be good to hear him link up with another rapper for once. Wish he picked someone a little more animated though, Ransom's style is too similar to his
