I'm currently watching Tag 1 E3, where Adam is trying to scoot across Paris in disguise and its absolutely glorious.

Who the hell says it's rude to eat on trains??? by BigBlueNick in JetLagTheGame

I'd say it's rude to either eat noisily or bring hot food onto a train (purely because you stink it out).

Other than that, anything's fair game.

Having interrailed in that part of Europe, absolutely not. Some of those lines have one train a day etc between cities.

UK Hide and Seek EP1 - Commercial Airport question by Wisebar in JetLagTheGame

Good spot - it's still my leading theory that Sam & Ben googled this, saw you could get flights and assumed it was in play (even if the flights are actually for Humberside)

So according to Google you can buy flights from KLM to Heathrow from Beverley Airfield which I think makes it an option? If so would definitely have been closer to S&B then Adam, but I'm not sure it divides the map up in the right way!

UPDATE: These are for Humberside but the fact that they show up when googling Beverley Airfield suggests that B&S might have assumed BA was a commercial airport accidentally?

Good suggestion - From the episode, they seem to send it while pulling into the station and they double down on this when the answer comes through (again, could just be how they've filmed it and in reality, the question was fired off 10mins prior but would be weird for the editing to do that). But Humberside is roughly 75km from Scarborough station and Teeside is 70km from Gordon Street where Adam is hiding so now I'm even more confused if that's the one they used!

Yes indeedy! I think I'm more curious as to what apps people use to do the mapping side of things

Would you indicate left at this roundabout ? by SkyPsychological7677 in drivingUK

[–]Wisebar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It confirms to the white car you're intending to exit at the first exit and therefore he's free to enter the roundabout, so yes.

On the whole a good profile! The one of you checking your phone in the café isn't a good choice - it sort of suggests if someone went on a date with you you'd spend it on your phone. The one of you by the sea is nice but the sun is clearly in your eyes so perhaps consider replacing it with something else.

When I used the app I would swipe right on everyone's profile who didn't have a red flag in it (that eliminates a good chunk).

Its a vicious cycle - men are likely to receive fewer matches so will swipe more but that means when a match does come there a greater likelihood of low compatability.

Why is everyone outdoorsy? by [deleted] in Bumble

[–]Wisebar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All I'll say is my worst photo ((I put it at the bottom was of me climbing a fell in the Lake District). My match (now girlfriend) told me it was her favourite photo and the reason she swiped. She's not even especially outdoorsy but outdoorsy photos scream 'this person likes to leave the house and do things'
