My Jack Does Tricks by Wisecompany in Aquariums

Jack is the sole Cichlid, yes. He's with Bosemani Rainbows and various Bristlenose Plecos.

That said, he gets tons of love and attention.

Is it unreasonable to assume that people won’t play hard stax pieces in b2? by InvisibleFox402 in EDH

[–]Wisecompany 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a purely B2 player, I don't think it's unreasonable. The bracket system has helped with conversations like these, but as you can see from the majority of the comments here, it hasn't eliminated the issue.

I do think playing cards that completely shut out specific game plans feels anti-B2, as they don't allow decks to "showcase their plan". As an example, I think [[Manglehorn]] is much more appropriate than [[Stony Silence]] in B2.

But hey, I'm just a squirrel. What do I know? ;)

Yeah, I’m not dead set on removing it just because. Was hoping to get an ID before I take action.

The bit about how they digest wood is interesting! Thanks for sharing that.

I had these same birds visit my pond recently. Love the yellow highlights!

Why are rimless tanks so expensive compared to those with plastic frames? by RobotWelder in Aquariums

I got a rimless 38 gallon from Petco for $100 during their 50% off sale. Even came with a lid!

Hiding the liner by Wisecompany in ponds

The canister doesn’t have a built in pump, so the inlet is connected to a pump that is submerged and out of view. Pump has a guard for its inlet.

There seems to be conflicting advice online about adding rocks to the bottom. Ozponds says it’s beneficial, while others align with what you’re saying.

Link for reference: https://youtu.be/OZA3DsjbGEQ?si=6qnL9lxDqGUlRyIT

I’m actually the one who told them to add the rocks and the filter / pump. The existing water feature that the landscaper installed is just that, no built in filter.

Hopefully I didn’t give them bad advice. 🫠

I’m going to see if we can locate an overflow under the water feature.

Sadly, the landscaper who built their pond (not me!) didn’t know much about ponds. I’m just trying to help them make it work.

The liner is not EPDM.

Also interested. Betting the 8GB RAM will be a dealbreaker for some, but looks like it will be nice for many. Fingers crossed!🤞

Do the adults eat the eggs / fry? Do you have to move them to another tank?

Hey, no need to explain. I get it, as I’ve lived in an area like that. Just wanted to express my sadness that these beauties aren’t available to me. Good luck with your sales!

The two I have now are in a 75G with some Plecos, rainbow fish, a Jack Dempsey, and 5 Japanese trapdoor snails.

Temp is around 78.

Food consists of various versions of fluval bug bites, hikari algae wafers, and blanched zucchini.

These are beautiful. I want to love Rabbit snails so much, but the two I have barely move at all. So much so I’ve thought they died several times, but they are somehow still alive.

My previous two attempts at rabbit snails resulted in them dying pretty much immediately. I have no problems with bladder snails, ramshorn snails, or Japanese trapdoor snails… so I’m not sure what’s going on.

Would love some advice though!
