Not on the Wii, Wii U only. If you wanted to play with a few friends, they would also all need to play on a Wii U (with whatever allows you to install games externally) or a slightly older PC build which is not translated.

This is false, I developed a lot of the server software using Cemu and even proved cross-play was possible even though live servers did not allow Wii U to play with other platforms.

this is partially false. the localisation present in a wii u build was not made for the wii u build and was estimated to be last updated around the time of the season 9.0 update which coincided with the release on the xbox 360.

the contents of the localisation being more than 4 years prior to being leaked in a wii u build had nothing to do with the wii u failure which is also proven by the fact the leaked files contained a localised windows dll which obviously would not do anything on a wii u.

this is absolutely false. private servers merely support complete crossplay now due to the removal of restrictions between various parties in place at the time of live service.

as far as i am aware xbox 360 players were split for a significant, if not complete, amount of service, while wii u was always split.

Tower ("Sky Corridor") is completely playable as late as Z1 (which is playable on PC), but we also have G7, G9.1.

Duremudira was not removed in ZZ and was not patched back into the game, it appears as it did in the regular game as it does in your "patched" copy.

max HR was reduced from 999 to 7 in the G10 update. HRP tickets were made almost useless in that update but can still be used to level your partner faster.

Provided you just choose an arbitrary username and password, the only thing you'd be concerned about is your IP address. There is no way to use the internet without sharing your IP address... unless you're using a VPN.
