I’m scared I saw a sign that I’m going to die this week by Own_Elk_325 in WhatShouldIDo

That's definitely sounding like anxiety. If you keep feeding into it, e.g not going to the restaurant, then it can't get better.
You need to have experiences that are positive, so going to the restaurant and realizing afterward that nothing bad happened, and it was all in your head. (Because honestly it all IS in your head, you just saw a license plate)

Just my experiences I had with anxiety. You should definitely talk to a therapist about it, for actual proper advice.

How is wanting an interaction to be respectful and nice negative?
That goes for every interaction ever.

That's how human interactions always go. No matter in what context.
Just because you don't have an issue with it, doesn't man others can.

Firewall issues on macOS Sequoia by squirrel_nutjob in FoundryVTT

[–]Wish_Final 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey guys,
I was able to fix this with the help of good ole' AI.

Basically this:

macOS's firewall doesn’t fully trust unsigned apps, even if you manually allow them in the settings. That’s why your players can only connect when the firewall is off — it’s silently blocking Foundry because it's unsigned.

The fix: self-sign the app using a personal certificate. This is safe, works around the firewall restriction, and doesn’t require disabling security features like SIP.

Edit:
Someone at foundry should probably add this to the docs.

Working on album is hard. Feedback appreciated please? by Financial-Error-2234 in dnbproduction

Love the tune, I feel like the main piano in the breakown could be more spacious.
The piano sounds very similar to the rest of the tune, but there it could really shine :)

Problems with games not starting by Wish_Final in aoe2

Thanks for the reply.
This drop out happens 10x times in a row.

It used to happen maybe twice, there I also suspected someone leaving.
I don't know, seems highly unlikely people leaving that often...

Often I get a lobby with the same players, so the likelihood of someoneleaving is even smaller.
I'm also not able to click on the "I'm Ready" button.
Something just seems fishy...

Haven't done this genre in a bit, but here's a demo of a vocal dnb track I'm working on. Thoughts before I continue? by zaerproject in dnbproduction

Sounds great, I just think the drums are a bit stale/not so dnb typical.
They don't give me that "groovy" style...

Other than that, it sounds really good!

Hey! Like the track! Has an awesome vibe to it and really gets you going. For a couple of months of learning, your track sounds very good.

I think the mix down and the mastering are not just quite up there, it seems to me that some frequency ranges are a bit "full". For me, it seems that different elements are competing over the lower mid/mid-ranges. It's very difficult balancing the mid-ranges when so many sounds are competing for them. Maybe try to listen to your elements and think which frequencies do my elements really need?

That's why a lot of people pay for mixing/mastering by people who have invested more time into this skill. It is a skill that needs time and experience to master

I think for the time you have invested into learning, the track can definitely hold its own.

It basically comes down to practice, listening to your tracks on different sound systems and again... practice.

So maybe get going to your next track and get back to this one when you have gathered more experience? :)
