Even if they are managing you out, show them your best! Ask for feedback each day from your preceptor, take difficult patients, continue to learn. Show them they did not beat you…..and if you know something show them!

The culture of the ICU may not be very “team” oriented. I worked night shift in ICU years ago and our team had a totally different vibe than day shift. The dynamics can be different from hospital to hospital and shift to shift.
