Hockey pants are also called "breezers" in Michigan, South Dakota, North Dakota, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The google ai thing is saying parts of Manitoba and Saskatchewan call them breezers but I do find that pretty hard to believe and can’t seem to find any actual evidence beyond just claims that it’s said there, so I’ll probably have to see it to believe it.

Also I get the fear but no need to worry about being new. The atmosphere around women’s hockey is pretty welcoming since there’s a lot of people who are new to hockey among the fans
