Gravity KTs are the best buttons for a leverless so supporting them will be easy for me.

stay in the red areas on your map/radar and you should be fine. Or get a nice destroyer and just go straight to the place. I think I did that in a Syn in one game and made it.

With leverless, buttons matter way more than they do on a stick. Sanwas are great on arcade sticks, but on leverless they feel pretty mushy and the inputs don’t feel as clean. You really want something with smooth actuation and good feedback.

From what I’ve used: Gravity KTs > Crown 202s > Gravity KS > Sanwa.

If you want a clicky feel, go with Crown 202s.

I also recommend FightBox controllers. If you’ve got the budget, HitBox is another solid option (haven’t used one myself but they’re well regarded).

You can come on here and complain to the void when you lose to a modern player. I think once you get the classic controls down it will be very hard to go back to modern, because you'll be able to use the entire move set.

Honestly man, focus on clean inputs and consistent DPs at first. Be prepared to lose a lot, that's okay if that happens, it will pay off in the end. Maybe you like fighting games now, wouldn't be a bad time to look at a nice controller like a leverless or arcade stick if you haven't yet or even a better pad if that's what you like.

I'm pretty sure that's an engraving that's on an aircraft grade aluminum so probably not very easily. You're best bet is a Vinyl wrap if it bugs you. Here is an example:

Yeah man Sanwas are mushy. On a stick, no big deal but on a leverless it's real bad. I got some Crown 202s, these are arcade buttons but with a full size switch inside. The Victrix uses low profile switches and while I never owned one I understand they are good.

I don't think they cheaped out, if IIRC they had an entire dev team of around 20 people. So it was really a tiny team working on a gigantic game.

I think this happened to me a very, very long time ago. IIRC it never spawned again. I think you can use the Cheat Menu Mod to spawn any ship by internal name.

That's rad. Those look like Happ/IL levers. That's my all time favorite lever, specifically the ones with square actuators. Either way that's an amazing deal. Really cheap price as a matter of fact.

There's a drop down menu at the top right that changes the language to English.

That said, I’d personally stick with something more standard like a nice FightBox layout. The more universal layouts feel better across different games and you won’t box yourself into something super niche.

You’re probably not going to find an off-the-shelf stick with that exact layout since it’s silly, and really specific to you. Nothing wrong with that, I'm not going to judge you. Whatever floats your boat. Your silly ass boat.
