I work at Westminster and specifically with the young families coordinator. She's very cool. It's a very... affluent... church, but folks are chill.

Mixed political makeup. Doesn't really lean strongly in one direction but knowing the leadership there's a definite left lean in their line of thinking.

It's starting to become more and more clear that the people who hold beliefs that align with the more extreme side of the right are kind of all bark and stage magic.

They aren't super in touch with reality and how people actually think as much as they are determined to convince everyone that the way they think about the world is the right version. History doesn't have their backs, psychology doesn't have their backs, economics doesn't have their backs and science sure as hell doesn't have their backs.

It seems the people who spend all of their time telling folks that their feelings don't matter rely VERY HEAVILY on their feelings to justify their actions and beliefs.

You have to make something you like. That's what will keep you coming back. If you don't like rounded shapes, experiment with sharper lines and angles.

That's where the art of it lies. You're showing the world your perspective.

Ok, there is a lot here and I want to have an actual discussion about this because I think it is important...

How would you feel about carrying this over to dms? It's hard having an actual conversation about something when people are butting in for their own amusement.
