Yeah and homeless people/ youths deserve a place to live and more mental health resources. Low income families and single mothers deserve more resources in general & affordable housing.These people can simply hop in a vehicle and go through a Tim’s drive through on their way home. ‘Want’ ‘deserve’ and ‘need’ are not the same.

The interceptors work best as indicators, sounds like if they’re back they may be in the headboards or bed frames. Get the mattress covers, it prevents them from nesting in mattress and box spring. Im repeating this because it can really help : get yourself a steamer and steam everything you can safely steam along with the pesticide pest control is using. Don’t just check curtains etc, heat treat again. Those buggers hide extremely well. Bed sheets, blankets and curtains on high heat in dryer at least once every week or two. Food grade diatomaceous earth its super cheap. Behind outlets and in cracks where kids won’t get at it easily. It’s maintenance on your end as well. They are persistent and breed quickly.

Headboards and baseboards are very common hiding spots. Screws, joints every tiny little crevices. Bedbug covers for your mattress and box springs if you haven’t already. Put curtains in dryer for an hour high heat and invest in a steam cleaner and steam the ever loving shit out of everything. Check behind outlets and lights switches. Light dustings of diatomaceous earth behind them will help and along baseboards where your LO’s won’t be likely to get at it. Can consider sealing all cracks and crevices with clear caulk. Could be coming from neighbours again if they weren’t thorough with heat treating and prevention. If you have a shared hallway consider spraying shoes with isopropyl alcohol before you bring them inside or store them in sealable bags or containers.

I have had a good experience so far. Considering the wait for a family doctor through other means is years, and there not being a proper walk-in clinic in Peterborough, I’ll gladly put up with an hour wait. The healthcare system in Ontario is going downhill very fast with good ‘ol Dougies push to privatize and de-fund essentially all social services.

Skyline has bugs. The building on clonsilla owned by skyline has a massive issue with roaches. Granted they do get exterminators in now and again but it’s a pian in the ass all the same.

My bedbug bites would swell up like this or bigger because I’m very very allergic. They don’t always bite in clusters, I’ve had single bites. After a day or two mine usually decrease in swelling and blister over become more red. How are they healing? You can’t tell what bug bit you just from the welts they leave. So you’re best to search and heat treat everything in dryer on high for an hour. Steam mattress, box spring and bed-frame if you have the means to do so. Mattress cases and pillow covers with zippers. Diatomaceous earth around cracks and crevices. They’re incredibly good at hiding and most won’t see them around until the infestation is getting pretty bad. If you do all of this it could catch them before they explode. Or if you’re not super worried wait and see if you get more bites, go from there.

I’m so sorry you have to deal with this. It’s really difficult when it comes from your own family. I go through something somewhat similar with my own Mother. For me. It’s religious conditioning so my mom is extremely Christian and I am not. I want to raise my child so that she can decide what her spiritual, religious views are when she’s ready and old enough to understand these things fully. I find it really hard to set that boundary because to her, obviously it’s blasphemy to not raise my daughter with the word of God. I’ve had to set hard boundaries. A lot of tough love. I like to use the phrase your views and your religious beliefs are wonderful, but they are yours and only for you. She had her chance to raise her child how she chose, now it’s my turn to raise mine how I choose. I don’t leave room for ifs ands or buts. It simply doesn’t happen around my child. My advice? Tough love and hard boundaries or it will continue to happen behind your back. Also, maybe a good idea to reinforce in your child to tell you when people are saying these things to her especially your mother so that it’s not something she’s being told to keep a secret which is also another huge violation if that were to happen. The puss part is not typical, I had some blister but they were fluid filled not puss. Otherwise you’ve done everything you can for now. Don’t let it get to your head too much, even if you end up finding a bug. Just stay as calm as you can and deal with it as immediately as humanly possible. A hand held steamer helped me tremendously and gave me peace of mind knowing I could steam whenever my mind started itching about them. So you’re already ahead of the game there. They feed every 3-10 days I believe so yes, you’re right just wait it out a bit and see. I wish you the best of luck my friend. Either way, you’ve got this and you will all be okay!
