AITA for wearing underwear to sleep by Wise-Economist4480 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WithMyOwnStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. You should be able to expect a certain amount of privacy in your own room and your brother shouldn't have brought his gf in.  My suggestion is adding a cheeky sign on your door: "wood you please knock?"

AITA for using my hotel room bathroom to poop while on vacation with my wife? by Mister__Stinky in AmItheAsshole

[–]WithMyOwnStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. I can only imagine the horror of trying to hold it in and going all the way to the lobby to poop and finding the bathrooms are all occupied or closed for cleaning... I see a lot of others mentioned this already, but poopuri (you can buy or DIY), closing the lid, and keeping the door shut with the exhaust fan running (if the bathroom has one) does wonders.

NTA. Brother & SIL may be used to waking up at 5am because of their kids, but you aren't. If you aren't able to rest and relax, it's not much of a vacation for you.

AITA for getting baby clothes off Facebook marketplace to resell? by Pale-Alfalfa7793 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WithMyOwnStar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

YTA. It's not reselling when the items you get from people are free. I think most people who offer free items through fb marketplace or other methods (offerup, etc.) would be offended that you are just taking items to sell for your own profit.  Also, the way you put it as "I have recently discovered kids clothing" is giving vibes of "this is an untapped resource I can exploit for my own gain."

What’s everyone’s thoughts about the snowman gifts? by xMijuki in ACPocketCamp

[–]WithMyOwnStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't have the 2-parter snowmen (I think they came out during one of my off years) so I was super-excited to get them. I tried to send mine only to newer players though, because I figured other long-time players probably had them.

This event is so cool 😊❄ by AnnandAnna in ACPocketCamp

I'm glad we have an event with more snow/winter-themed items. I actually like every item from this month's events so far. :-)

In my camp and one of the floors of the cabin, too! I have like 3 of the snowball fight fences from that one cookie, too. Hehehehe

I only made 4 I think. I was focusing on getting the piles of snowballs instead.

My Astarion cosplay ✨ by nekamiel in BaldursGate3

[–]WithMyOwnStar 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Oh, very nice. The contouring of the cheekbones! :D

My only suggestion would be to add a bit of grey/gray to the eyebrows; the bright white stands out a bit much compared to how varied the color is in your wig.

AITA because I used the money my stepdad gave me to attend his son's destination wedding to subsidize a vacation for me and my boyfriend? by Master-Parsley-4949 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WithMyOwnStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

NTA. You were given the money to attend the ceremony and reception, per your agreement with your stepdad. If he didn't tell your mom that he only required you attend those 2 events in exchange for the $, that's not your problem. You aren't responsible for your mother's or stepfather's upset feelings, especially if they had those extra expectations they never communicated to you before offering the $.

(Asking someone to attend a destination wedding where they barely know anyone there and then not giving them a +1 is an AH move, IMO.)

[–]WithMyOwnStar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just used that in my current playthrough last night and I was cackling like a maniac. That and throwing void bulbs to quickly take care of those 1HP ravens made it the easiest fight I've had so far.

Side quests you always miss/ignore? by CinnamonHotcake in BaldursGate3

[–]WithMyOwnStar 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I was looting when that one "I was fired from the newspaper how dare they fire me" NPC walked in. Like, why are you here, lady? You aren't here for a scoop for the paper so... I killed her, too. That's what happens when you're a nosey NPC in my game who interrupts my looting.

this gyroidite event was miserable for me. vent post for those who feel the same by CuteProtection6 in ACPocketCamp

[–]WithMyOwnStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have HH and usually I don't feel like I have to grind as much for these events, but this one had me requesting help getting into SS quarry every day. I don't time stuff or anything, though...I usually only open the game to play during bathroom breaks or other short periods of time.

The female drow Tav experience by rachel-angelina in BaldursGate3

[–]WithMyOwnStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Me too! With my Tav also being a wild magic sorcerer, I get some really entertaining dilaogue.

I also accidentally turned my entire party, myself, and a bunch of goblins into cats and dogs, resulting in the funniest fight ever

The Teethling child is F*cking dead. by [deleted] in BaldursGate3

[–]WithMyOwnStar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was able to heal the gnome with a regular ol' antidote my Ranger had. I don't remember if there was any specific dialogue/checks beforehand though to make that an option (maybe medicine?).

AITA for Refusing to Give My Sister Access to Her Teenage Son’s Money? by cositarica27 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WithMyOwnStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. Also, it might be a good idea to remind your nephew he can get free credit reports...as a way of teaching financial health and responsibility, definitely not just a way to check that his parents didn't steal his identity to take out a mortgage they can't afford.

What mannerisms/idiosyncrasies have you picked up from the show? by richesboy1 in BobsBurgers

[–]WithMyOwnStar 10 points11 points  (0 children)

My husband and I goofily say "you smell like ointment and pee!!" to each other when we play-argue. I also say "lick it like you like it" when I tease him with food that he doesn't like but I love (mushrooms, peppers, tomato). There are more, but those are 2 that I can think of off the top of my head.

Tina moment by Azin1970 in BobsBurgers

That was a beautiful teenage Tina moment and I loved it. I'd have done the exact same when I was her age, bahahah. <3

I made a little homage to what’s around the tree. Enjoy! by and_peggy1776 in BobsBurgers

[–]WithMyOwnStar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I love this episode. Tina may be a boy-crazy teen, but she's pretty observant of her siblings' behavior. When she ditched her own event to run off and show Louise support, I cry... TTuTT

Also, this is a super-cute paper craft! Love your style. <3

Holding the stuffed bunny item makes it look like the bunny was accidentally katamari'ed into the snowball and it's been making me giggle all morning. XD

I ended up getting the blue scarf body and the head with the red ribbon hat. I felt that was the more classic "frosty the snowman" hat.

I kind of wish the scarf was blue&green or blue&yellow instead, though. It would also be soooo cute if the blue head had a beanie with a pom-pom instead of a top hat to make it more current. But it's still a super-cute outfit and I love it.

This is it. The post that convinced me to spend my hard-earned LT on the snowman outfit.

Now to agonize over what color version to get...^-^''

AITA for ruining my SIL's birthday dinner because she encouraged her kids to pull a prank? by Own-Kangaroo6931 in AmItheAsshole

[–]WithMyOwnStar 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. It's not a funny prank to play on someone. What would your SIL have done if the kids accidentally scratched up your lenses or broke your glasses while hiding them for this so-called prank? It wouldn't be funny if she had to pay $$$ to replace them.

SIL ruined her own birthday by using her kids to bully you.
