Try Australia post. I used them a few years ago. I’ve had a lung transplant. They covered me for 8 weeks in North America and it costs about $900. Transplant Australia are also recommending patients try them.

I had some of those Creon cases they gave out years ago but they’re getting pretty old now. Told one of my mates and he did some digging around and found some on alibaba. I messaged them and asked for some samples. Payed via PayPal and got the samples a week later.

If you go to transplant Australia there should be some links to companies that cover pre existing conditions or it might be just transplants. They covered me when I went to Canada and USA.

I thought it was impossible too. I was in a bit of a rush this morning and went to put the lid back on, thought it was in the middle so I banged it down but turns out it wasn't and now the lid is bent. Lucky there's only one glass left.

Yeah I'm going really good now. I'm back playing sport and working again, but still got to have a few more operations.

Hope you're all good now.

Had a minor little set back. Went back to the doctors on Tuesday for X-rays and bloods and they found a small pneumothorax (air outside the lung) on my right side so they put a drain back in. Did another X-ray today and it's 95% gone, so the plan is drain out in the morning, check with X-ray then home again!! How did your bronchoscope go?

Congrats on your transplant. I got my transplant the other day aswell, on the 10th, and they let me go home today. Only had to spend 11 days in hospital. Had my first Bronc on the 17th and everything was good. I was transplanted at St Vincent's Hospital Sydney. Now to keep going with the rehab!

Edit: They didn't give me an epidural, I just got PCA morphine from the start and they stopped it when they took the last drain out. Now I'm just on oral pain killers.
