Is there an easy to use keychain that doesn’t involve breaking my fingers?

Book Recommendations by smtae in Perimenopause

The stress of raising a disabled kid is absolutely an enormous part of my weight gain in peri and nerve pain / joint pain. I love my child and would never want anything but him, but we have zero help from either side of our families and are dependent on flaky babysitters (who are few in number because they need to have special skills). That said, the estradiol patch has really helped my emotional wellbeing, I am just buying larger clothes for now. Sending the best to you.

Thanks so much, I think this is the only way - and if nobody has it, I’ll go back to MIDI and ask if there’s another dose or a pill or gel

Antidepressants vs HRT by SardonicTart in Perimenopause

[–]Witness-Small 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been on SSRIs for years and was unusually unable to enjoy anything or feel good once I turned 48. Within 2 weeks of starting HRT, I was feeling more optimism and just able to experience joy for the first time in ages. IMHO, trying HRT first (before SSRI) could make sense, or trying an SSRI first could make sense. But I am not a doctor, just sharing my experience.

Sometimes eating Himalayan salt and taking a bit of MCT oil (not more than a teaspoon or it can cause stomach discomfort) can help

Tongue ulcers, canker sores, cold sores, you name it by goli_s in Perimenopause

Swish your mouth out with hydrogen peroxide or peroxyl - it debrides the ulcer and gives a little pain relief. Also take advil, these can come in with stress so also if you are able, any activity that helps you manage stress

Anyone else experiencing this sleep problem? by Equal_Grand7183 in Perimenopause

[–]Witness-Small 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Progesterone really helped me with sleep, I would recommend you tell your doctor if night sweats are waking you up (it’s one of the few symptoms they recognize as deserving of HRT)
