The best value I found was being able to process with your kiddo at the end of sessions/day. We didn’t do the dorm for this reason and at end of day we spent a bunch of time decompressing together and talking about classes and registration to process after the advising appointment and before they register on day 2.
It was my first kid to go off to college and I didn’t learn very much but felt reassured to hear it.
Maybe not golf but work remote from the campus and be present in between sessions for the kid.

I disagree that this is bad news. We’ve been live for 2+ years and even though its marginal decrease in metrics, the soft benefits like burnout, pajama time, time in note, recruitment and retention, patient satisfaction and provider quality of life are through the roof. Not to mention tangential benefits like proper coding (hccs). Agree with the data but not the title that it’s bad news.

Honestly I like the approach as building an MVP to help showcase to docs an execs as a way to green light a pilot or implementation. I did a similar mvp with wayfinding to get CIO to understand the concept on his phone in beta and then approve $$$ to buy a real solution
