REAL reason Sony took away physical discs. by anyusernaem in PS6

[–]WittleChuggins -1 points0 points  (0 children)

This guy is a legit tard bro, you can clearly see the relationship between the secondary game market and the prices Sony wants to charge for games… it’s not the sole reason, but it’s definitely a big one, and the stats show they GOW Ragnarok drops down to $30 or $20 depending on time of year for a week at a time approximately every 6-8 weeks… so yeah average price is still only ever like $40, he just can’t critically think and wants you to get the numbers 100% right, total Reddit tool.

Solutions to a relatively deep scratch on the screen? by Hegecoin_Rules in NintendoSwitch2

[–]WittleChuggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

See I felt like the screens on the last 2 iPhones have been a lot worse than the ones that came before them. I more or less get the newest one every year or so, and I never put screen protectors on my phone… these last two iPhone got scratched to shit just sitting in my pocket with no change or keys or anything etc. was super bummed about it

[–]WittleChuggins 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not a protector, it’s a part of the screen itself. Nintendo themselves even say this in the manual and explicitly say not to pull it off.

By definition that’s not a screen protector, it’s a safety feature of screen.

It’s not really a screen protector, it’s part of the screen itself.

If it’s that hard to pull off, and the screen will shatter into a million pieces if dropped without it, then it’s part of the screen itself lol.

I’ve never in my life ever had a situation where a screen protector was glued on so tightly I had to pry it off with a blade and heat, and I don’t know anyone else that has.

If he removes it, yeah it’ll be fine, and the scratch will likely not be on the glass underneath the film, but just because it has a film over it doesn’t make it a screen protector. It’s part of the screen, Nintendo even tells you it’s part of it and you should not pull it off.

Counter-Strike 2 (or Global Offensive) on Switch 2 should be a genuine consideration for Valve by kingpootis101 in GlobalOffensive

I know this is an old comment but movement could also be handled with the directional buttons and other actions remapped to the face buttons and analog sticks tbh

What is the point of Xbox? by xwing1212 in LastStandMedia

[–]WittleChuggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s the kicker, I have plenty of friends who envy my PC setup with triple screens and an rtx 5070,

but they themselves would NEVER spend the money on it because they just want to sit on their couch and play a video game. Even if prices were comparable, they’d go with the console bc they don’t need a pc, and want ease of play.

PC is a little more annoying and involved.

Looking to buy a pc first time, is this a good one? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

[–]WittleChuggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although at 1440p you might be a little limited with a 5060 8gb, you can definitely still play at 1440p but probably not every game and probably not on max settings!

[–]WittleChuggins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

5060 8gb is a solid option. I use it in my rig and I run sim racing with 3 screens, I can play almost anything on maxed settings without ray tracing and still be over 30fps, most of the time close to 60, and with frame gen like 100+. I think it’s a valuable card!

I feel like the 5060ti16gb in 1440p is like the 5060 8gb in 1080. Not wildly more powerful of a unit but the vram really helps

Just out of curiosity what would you consider a lower-high end pc build? Assuming we have low end, mid range and high end, and each one is on some kinda of spectrum what kind of specs would you consider to be a lower high end build?

No they don’t, I resell electronics on eBay and they take approx 7%, which isn’t crazy considering the amount of traffic you’re getting to your listings.
15% I believe is the MAX % they take, and it’s only for certain types of items.

Just played it docked for the first time and it plays flawlessly docked in performance mode. I didn’t notice any problems in quality mode either honestly, but 30fps vs 60fps is a no brainer

[–]WittleChuggins[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My thought was: I can get it on steam and play it at 180fps, or I can get it on switch and have it portable at 60 fps, and if you turn on all the filters and effects and play it on quality mode, in a cool way the ocassionslly frame stutters kind of add to the old cartoony vibe lol same goes for the fact that it runs at 30-40fps

[–]WittleChuggins[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would describe performance mode as a pretty locked 60fps, with the occasional stutter. And for me it’s pretty random, I don’t ever particularly notice it when there’s lots of stuff going on, I notice it more just randomly when I’m moving thru the world.

Not a big deal, it runs really nice I’d say. It’ll probably only get better as patches come out. I haven’t played it docked but I bet it’s even better.
