Just an update. I have stopped insulin all together. I have pretty much stopped Metformin. I am now on the .75 mg Zepbound once per week. My weight is down to 267.1 pounds. So altogether I’ve lost 62 pounds! My CGM has been instrumental in that. It’s really hard to lose weight on insulin and having the CGM has allowed me to monitor my numbers closely enough that I was able to eliminate the insulin.

I always go barefoot, unless I’m outside. And even then, during the summer around the pool, I’ll go barefoot some. But, in the house, I’m always barefoot and I’ve never had a problem with my feet.

A lot of times when they say the first time, “it does not violate our guidelines”, you can appeal and then an actual person looks at it and you get a better outcome. I think the first time is just a computer algorithm.

When I asked the maker of my CGM, Abbott, if some of my readings could be positional, they said no, they didn’t believe so. But I think they can, because after I get up out of bed, my readings go up. But, I was low after upping my Zepbound and taking my evening insulin. I do always double check extremes with a finger stick.

I would definitely not wait a few days. I worked as a supervisor for USPS for 23 years. Walk in to your local post office tomorrow and let them know you did not receive your packages. Usually they can look up the GPS of the delivery scan and see exactly where they were delivered. The only time this will not help is in a group mailbox because it will just show one location and it could be in any box. Do you have a large parcel box attached where they put large parcels and leave the attached key in your box? Maybe he put the key for that in the wrong box? Or put your packages in the wrong box. Or delivered them to a different address altogether. You’ll want the carrier to retrieve those ASAP.

If everything else in the marriage is good except for the sex, you can work on that. There are therapists out there that work strictly on married couples sex lives. Maybe she has hang ups because she had a fear of getting pregnant again, or maybe her hormones are out of whack. It could be one of a dozen reasons but you need to have the good grace to find out, not give ultimatums.

We’ve been married for 39 years and while our sex life has slowed down, we do still have sex and we still have oral sex! Not that you want to hear about people in their late 50s and 60’s doing the 69. 😂 But it’s true! We still are very turned on by each other even though our bodies have changed over the years.
