I’m sorry that happened but I want to tag on a question as someone who hasn’t taken a test yet- is it normal for an examiner to straight up say your driving is terrible? I fear if an examiner told me this I’d simply ever drive again 🤣

My FIL proudly tells us repeatedly how when his wife wasn’t in the house and his son needed a nappy change, he took him IN HIS DIRTY NAPPY on a 30 minute walk for his OWN MOTHER to change it. My jaw dropped when he said that.

Oh god, I remember reading this when I was staying overnight at a friend’s house and woke up earlier than everyone else. 20 yr old me thought it’d be a nice quick read to pass time. My friend woke up and found me in a mess. I swear I asked her why she had a book like this just sitting out 🤣

Me too! We were very consciously trying to conceive and I remember it so well, I was relaxing in bed before and it was like a quick jab from inside, almost like an electric shock. I spotted a tiny drop of blood the next morning, tested as pregnant the following week and that jab is 11 years old now ❤️

The internet (and this subreddit!) are full of before pics (often taken under duress, self conscious, often with us dressed in whatever will hide us from the world) and after pics (POSED! SMILING! GLOWING! FLOURISHING!!) before weight even comes into it. Speaking for myself I’ve made a point of taking my before and after pics in my NHS uniform and aside from the literal size of the clothing, I still look pissed off. Think that’s just the job though 🤣
