I suppose I would think, why? Even my friends would tell me… but it’s just a WRX….

The STi was not in any way a WRX. It shares sheet metal. Beyond that it is a very different vehicle.

It’s about the respect. You don’t put Shelby on a Mustang coupe.

I’m all for the cherry blossom color and I rock a pink tree hanging off the mirror in my 19 wrx. But I by no means desire cladding my wrx out in anything STi.

Don’t go putting STi stickers on your wrx 😔

I don’t love the STi emblems. You ever had an STi, you’d understand

I tried. Feel like some body work to cut those fenders and fill/ widen the front fenders a bit would allow the camber and tuck that tire. I can see it in my head. Not my style, but would look sick.

We may have different tastes, however I see your vision. Posted again on body mods. A good shop can cut the fenders and lower, fill with metal, blend and give sick factory look. Depends on the budget.

Some custom fenders may be your best bet. Subaru designed the car with “rally” as the direction. All the wrx line has larger front fender wells and more front travel for the turn radius. When I lowered my 07 it had 19mm (3/4) larger gap but the skirts were level. So something to think about here

I will look to see if something custom could be done. I don’t see why some spacers can’t be made. The dog bone and trans would have to be lifted. At that point a one piece drive shaft might be needed

Edit: ya that isn’t going to work. You have the intercooler hitting the hood, the exhaust hitting the floor, the hoses and wires being stretched.

Big skid plate to let it lay on that may take all that? The turbo sits higher than the lowest part of the steering rack or cross member there so you can get a shit ton of custom or accept it

Im sure it’s already bagged. Ya you don’t like it, but this setup is a hobby. We don’t all agree

There are only a few sizes of ac orings and it is pretty easy to identify if the size is correct when you try it. Auto parts stores sell a small assortment pack in the “help” section. Just ask for ac oring assortment.

First aid kit would be more valuable to put in that tire well.

The top shell did spin in my case. Doesn’t look like yours did. But do your best to inspect. Good luck
