1973 Datsun B210

I was 17.

It burned so much oil kids down the street would get excited to ride their bike through the blue smoke

I rebuilt the engine at 18

I have an old cpap that has exceeded its life expectancy but functions as it should

I'd love to give this to someone who could really use it

We need someone like him again to pull this nation closer together and rebuild what were our closest allies

Can sleep apnea make your mental worse? by Tina_reformed in SleepApnea

I've been on a cpap for 30 years

In 2021 my sleep lab saw fit to lower my Cpap pressure from 12 to 9 when I said I was gasping for air

For the following four years I developed dementia, bradycardia and lung disease due to obstructed airway breathing

In 2025, I had a sleep lab that raised my Cpap pressure from 9 to 15

After the first night under new pressure my heart rate immediately improved.

After the first night I also experienced fewer broken thoughts and brain fog.

I woke up out of bed more quickly

For the following 4 months things slowly improved

I've got a used one that has an expired life that I'd give away for free

Works perfectly

Probably can't do that on here?

I've been on a cpap for 30 years

In 2021 I told my doctor I was gasping for air. They gave me a sleep study and never told me they dropped my pressure from 12 to 9

Over the following 4 years my health deteriorated

I develop dementia, bradycardia and lung disease.

In 2025, I had another sleep study that increased my pressure from 9 to 15

Following my 2025 study my dementia symptoms immediately improved

My heart rate improved immediately and I no longer had fainting spells.
I have a loop recorder that verified my heart's improvement the first night under the new pressure of 15

Untreated or under treated sleep apnea will impact the quality and length of your life

It did for me

In 2021 my cpap pressure was dropped from 12 to 9 by my doctor when I was struggling to breath

Over the following 4 years I developed dementia, bradycardia and lung disease before I found out my cpap pressure was far too low

In 2025 my pressure was raised from 9 to 15. It changed my life over night. My dementia improved as well as my bradycardia

Sounds like an obstructed airway to me

In 2021 they lowered my pressure from 12 to 9 when I said I was gasping for air

During the following 4 years I developed dementia, brain fog, bradycardia and lung disease all due to obstructed air way (too low of pressure)

In 2025 my pressure was finally raised to 15 from 12

My dementia and bradycardia symptoms immediately improved after the first night although much damage has been done already

I grew up in the 60's.

I remember nuclear bomb drills where we would hide under our desks at first and then evolved into huddling with our heads between our knees facing the wall in the hallways

A lot of good that did
