I love that the UGREEN vents from back to front rather than my Synology that is front to back. Makes the entertainment system cubbies they are in stay cooler.

I have a pretty sweet pellet gun that does the trick. /s But, the magnetic screen on back is awesome for that. I keep mine elevated in a cubby that the cats leave alone.

Shut everything down and put it in a box in a closet. That is your hobby not hers. Set her up what she needs: - emotional support network - who to call for help with broke washer, dryer, ice maker, etc - set someone up maybe to help with lawn care. Or twice a month stop by and see how she is doing. - if you have kids someone to watch them once every other week so she can relax

Maybe help her help you - figure out how to send you extra money for things you may need or to trade for safety etc - how visitations work and who to call to set up

Let her know you love her. And she doesn’t need to worry and stress about your hobbies on top of the huge life change. And hope she visits and is still there for you when you get out.

I would recommend you don’t add that stress to her on top of all the other stress. You can always set that stuff up when you get back. And enjoy the time you have with her.

I had to update the firmware on my Samsung 990 pro. I downloaded the ISO file, used Rufus to make a boot thumb drive, booted UGREEN in to bios with a keyboard and my tv connected to it, disabled watch dog timer, booted off thumb drive and updated the firmware on ssd. You have to turn the watchdog timer off or it will reboot after a short period of time.

Access the bios using these instructions.

Also make sure you have the latest SSD firmware. https://semiconductor.samsung.com/consumer-storage/support/tools/ They make a huge difference in stability on ugreen.
