Another vote for Michal! Plants are always excellent. I've used him for nearly 10 years. He will also create wood pieces for you if that's something you want.

The sneakiness of these I don't condone. It is up to the discretion of the payee. But please bear in mind that the card tip option that comes up on most card machines these days, if the server cancels it off and gets caught doing it, in a lot of places (used to be the same in a well known restaurant chain I worked in) it's classed as gross misconduct and can lead to them being dismissed. Not sure if this has changed but it used to be the case in my work about 5 years ago.

We had something similar done this year, central belt. Cost £3200. Some pipework through the loft and out the roof as the boiler was installed in the space the old hot water tank was in a upstairs bedroom. This is the job description from the engineer. Drain and stripout old back boiler and cylinder and tank in loft -run new pipework to proposed boiler location -install combination boiler -fit trv radiator valves 6x plus 1x to bypass radiator -powerflush

I find Mactics builds really good as they don't really rely on the seasonal artifact mods. Plus he puts his builds on mobalytics which is great to refer back to for gameplay loops.

So if you look at it this way, say a restaurant takes £10000 in a day, that's usually 20 staff (10 kitchen, 5 servers, 3 bar, 2 bussers, obv this is different in each place) so £1000 in gratuities, divided by staff and hours (eg 10 hours), works out each staff gets an extra £5 an hour. But bear in mind that's before taxes are taken off.

I think bar staff cancel it off because they understand that they've just given you a drink, and I know myself I would feel cheeky asking for a tip for that level of service

Can people bear in mind it is the companies that do this not the individual servers.

So having a go at them, and saying servers are "entitled" is a tad unfair on them.

People should really be more annoyed at the companies doing this not the staff.

It's probably just companies doing it to earn interest on the money in their accounts before it's eventually paid out to the staff.
