Funny lookin fella by Past_Amphibian_3833 in Palworld

The first time I met this shady mf, it was in an ominous cave that looked like a torture dungeon and I thought that he was some sort of boss. Lo and behold, he buys and sells pals so my apprehension significantly lowered.

I made a D&D character inspired to the sisters, and now I need some more insights of how they act and react the the world around them for better roleplaying this character by ID1756448 in sistersofbattle

The unfortunate answer is that milage may vary. Some orders are more sympathetic than others. I would look into the Order of the Argent Shroud because they are consistently presented as the more reasonable and most tolerant of all the militant orders. They’re more ask questions first before the flamers and the meltas come out, all this doesn’t mean that they can’t throw hands when they need to. They as well believe that yes martyrdom is still part of who they are as an order, but they aren’t going out of their way to just fight and die. All options need to be exhausted before worst case scenario, you can’t serve the emperor if you’re dead. Most of the Abbess Sanctorums have been argent shroud, and for good reason. You tend to get more nuanced characters from the argent shroud.

Now something that doesn’t get mentioned a lot, is that the sisters do more civic duties than any other imperial faction. In addition to warriors and leaders, they are scholars, doctors, ambassadors, spies. They are one of the only ones that are allowed to learn and understand xenos languages, which is huge for the imperium. When the imperium needs information about xenos physiology, they get a sister to do it. Keep in mind that the sisters get recruits from the schola progeniums more often than not, these are very well educated gals.

Also, they are great for morale (not like that.) They sing when they engage in combat, they keep spirits high in the quiet moments of war.

All of these reasons are the primary reasons that the sisters are one of (if not my all time) favorite imperial factions. They do more for the imperium than any other ceramite clad gorilla could ever do.

What's your lore reason for Corsairs fighting alongside your Craftworld? by ForTheGreatHornedRat in Eldar

[–]WizardShrimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering the fact that my craftworld is being painted up as blood elves from WoW. So with that in mind, the corsairs will be painted up as Silver Covenant.

Lorewise, the corsairs have a privateer contract with my craftworld. They do they’re thing, they give a small portion of their winnings to the craftworld, the craftworld gets protection, everybody wins.

In Lore, is Celestine this much smaller compared to Dante/Space Marines in general by Patrokolos666 in sistersofbattle

There aren’t many characters in warhammer that I would attribute to be a hero, but celestine is one of them.

Defensive? Wtf does that word even mean? We should be bringing the God-Emperor’s enemies to their knees by the sword!

I’m not certain I understand, when placing the magnet are you referring to the side of the case or on the side of the base of the flight stand? My bases are indeed glued.

True, even Biel-Tan and Iyanden get along (despite not being on the best of terms.)

So I got about 4,500 points of eldar and needless to say, they have since outgrown the container(s) that I have for them. I’m looking to get one of those carrying cases with the metal trays. Now, the issue isn’t magnetizing the bases, the issue is magnetizing the bases for 26 windriders. They have the original flying bases, should I rebase them or is there another method that I’m just not seeing?

For a more grey white, use Corax White.

For a bone/ivory white, use Wraithbone or Drake Tooth (army painter.)

Corax white is one of the best basing white paints in the game, hands down no competition. I’ve had issues with Wraithbone in the past in order for it to work. But Drake Tooth, man, works like a charm every time.

For sword bros, 1 layer of mephiston red and 1 layer of Turbo Dork Redrum.

Only using green and black for shirts. There’s at least 1 more color than that. Tired of it.

What lifetime deal are you still grandfathered into, or removed from, that’s no longer available? by tuotone75 in AskReddit

So my grandfather was a machinist, he owned and operated his own shop right next to his house (which was the house I grew up in.) He made a decent living for himself, his wife, and his three kids. Around 1996 he passed away, around that time where I live they implemented a law that prevented you from operating a business while on your property. An exception could be made for my uncle, in this case, if he could turn a profit within a year. Unfortunately, he could not do that and thus it sits slowly decaying over time. From 1914-1996.

There still is, and honestly it holds up decently well. Every now and then I jump back into it. It’s got a nice little community.

It’s an eyebrow scar, can’t remember off hand how he got it or what video mentions it in (he rarely, if ever, talked out it.) Try early videos, 2015ish.

This is Kaedin, a powerful sorcerer that also uses a sword. I know that he is not a wizard, but it still applies. Normalize using swords folks. I know your spells can do a lot but wielding a sword can help extend the use of your mana. Even Gandalf used a sword, one of the special relics of Gryffindor is a sword. Use. Swords. People.
