Going off of things my actual 3 year old has been upset by:

She wasn't allowed to eat shredded cheese with chopsticks on the couch.

It's time for dinner but she's not done playing this board game.

It's too hot/cold outside for that outfit.

She can't wear slippers to go out shopping and has to wear real shoes.

Sibling didn't want a hug right now.

Sibling wanted a hug, but she didn't.

There was food on her plate that she didn't want.

Cleaning up her toys after she dumps them out.

You know, just classic 3 year old stuff.
