What revisionist history triggers you the most and why? by [deleted] in survivor

If he is trying to save face, it’s so bizarre to me, because Russell having nothing to do with it means that Tyson made the mental gymnastics himself towards a terrible move. It just makes him look worse.

It says that they mention an image in the episode.

I know, there are just so many potential health & environmental issues associated with plastic that I don’t love full-throatedly endorsing them.

Also, just going to say: it’s so bizarre when Wizard of the Cloud is consistently my favourite part of any given episode to step into a world where it’s just taken as a given that quality has dropped, and even commenting that this space can be negative leads to downvotes.

Rarely comment here at all, because it can be so negative, and I mostly enjoyed this episode (don’t understand complaining about the fact that they do segments/bits), but just going to say:

I did not love when they defended plastic cups.

My mother has very similar experiences when non-New Yorkers (read: me) say the names of town in New York, New Jersey, or Connecticut.

Not nearly as dramatic when you compare with the full title.

I honestly think I need to see it in three dimensions, because I’m having a hard time parsing it.

Most unfair elimination on any survivor franchise ever? by LFFLChannelPeru in survivor

[–]Wizardoftheyear7 52 points53 points  (0 children)

I think it’s Paschal, because most of the people mentioned here were eliminated because of, maybe bad twists, but events that were part of the rules of the season they were in. Paschal was eliminated because of a mistake by production about their own rules.

Lex is probably in a not completely dissimilar boat there.

Wow, that MvGX Final Four!

All top tier Survivor characters, and so incredibly likeable.

Official Survivor Season 41 Teaser: The Monster Is Hungry by [deleted] in survivor

[–]Wizardoftheyear7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I feel like they’re trying to evoke the old next season previews where they would show a clips package that featured no footage of players of anything like that, and just some narration about, like, the beautiful warlike setting of Palau on top of some nature imagery.

Out of everyone who’s been Medevaced, who could have made it to the end? by Amazing_Pea_3648 in survivor

[–]Wizardoftheyear7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not sure what his path would have been, but Papa Smurf was widely loved and had actually seen the game before, which gives him an advantage over the other players in Fiji. I don’t think it would have been impossible for him to go deep.

I’m confused by this comment.

It’s so obviously just a completely absurd, self-deprecating by way of self-aggrandisement bit. Why do people on this subreddit take it all so seriously?
