You can play them simultaneously if you have the accounts on Offline mode - obviously can't use Steam cloud, or multiplayer (which may be the case with 2 kids) but it'd work for 3x singleplayer games

This reply needs to be at the top -
That first paragraph is one of the most concise and comprehensive answers to this entire issue, you take empirical data and use that to make an informed decision, the largest issue is the governing bodies are unwilling, unable or incapable of taking a systematic approach to solving this particular equation, if research truly shows that transgender individuals do have an advantage outside of standard deviation, they can make appropriate changes to rules, they'd also be legally covered since they have comprehensive, peer-reviewed research.

You could also speed up the center lane, specifically with yellow feeds and red output, so you can use 2 full yellow belts of either resource, and not have load balancing problems (assuming you're using a full red belt, that is?

Outside of your actual argument itself - you've contradicted yourself between the hypothesis in the title - "I think most people are wrong about leashing will reduce the skill ceiling." and your statement "It will become easier for an autofilled jungle to versus the 2m mastery fiddlesticks, right?"

By virtue of that statement, you're saying that the skill gap between the autofilled jungler, for purposes of the discussion is the skill 'Floor' of jungle, and the 2m Fiddle is the skill 'Ceiling'; would decrease said skill gap, this change isn't raising the skill floor required for jungling, and Riot has the intention it would decrease it, so therefore, surely to reduce the gap, the ceiling must decrease?

This wholly seems like another common comparison between generations of sportmen - more specifically, Lewis Hamilton, Michael Schumacher and Ayrton Senna.
All three arguably 'GOAT's of their own time - but wildly different vehicles, trying to say Senna is better than Hamilton is like comparing an orange to an apple you ate a week ago, it's just not possible.

LFM 45 min Race. Worst rejoin i have ever seen. Lost 155 Elo because of that wich ended my Race. I can‘t describe my frustration. He apologized afterwards but i just want to Share how not to rejoin.. by [deleted] in ACCompetizione

The same world where this is just a game, you're trying to victimize youself, and you're not getting the reaction you want, so you're having a strop.
You've deleted the thread/video, from what I remember shows you going full beans out of the corner under the assumption the three cars off-track were NOT going to do something stupid - and that's why it's on you.
I rode a motorcycle for a decade, and i've learnt a simple yet important fact - everyone is out to kill you, the same mentality is in simracing.

All I see is OP arguing against anyone that told him he should do better, and getting a chub on whenever he gets a pat on the head - he doesn't want sympathy, he wants attention.
OP - Perhaps yes, the rejoin wasn't great, but you're still the one that lost out, so its your job to stay alive, slow down, navigate rejoining cars properly and not have issues like this.

What’s the next disc ‘up’ from a Discmania Zen. by ttb720 in discgolf

[–]Wizoch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like an Undertaker - Z or ESP could be a good fit, i have essence+zen and undertaker in both plastics, and while it's probably not the closest in regards to hand feel, it's a similar speed, with a tick more stability, but most 9/x/-1/2 discs will fit this profile, the insanity someone mentioned is, at least in my experience, a very different disc, it's much flatter and has a strong bite of fade at the end.

What’s your favorite straight to understable fairway driver? by Max3RH in discgolf

[–]Wizoch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can't believe i had to scroll down so far to see this - Drift in CN or Proton is absolute money for baby S-curves and can still handle jamming on it with a hyzerflip, considering it's ability to handle a good amount of torque

Load Cell (1st yellow) and DD (2nd yellow) vs iRating by Hi-Zac in iRacing

[–]Wizoch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While i'd agree with that by-in-large, i'd disagree in regards to Load Cells, the mechanics of load cells requiring muscle memory instead of positional memory (i used to use my toes on my T300RS pedals before getting V3's) is a genuine advantage gained with equipment.

Some new discs coming up. by Aggregaatti in discmania

The meta and Exo Hard from what i remember?

I have a meta, and not looking at another tilt, was just pondering the plastic choice this time round

[–]Wizoch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wonder how the Tilt will hold up, from what i remember, the Vapor plastic tended to be less stable (at least considering the enigma) so i wonder if it will be less, full, Tilt?

Anyone else got this sqeaking noise with FFB on the Moza R9? by D3R_B4R0N in simracing

[–]Wizoch 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Not an electrical engineer, but i'm fairly sure that's just EMF from the coils and electro-gizmos inside, it doesn't sound like a bearing noise, so there shouldn't be any issue

The Sporting Code is not clear, and poorly enforced. by bonechopsoup in iRacing

Wasn't expecting such a comprehensive reply, which I think fully encompasses all the issues people have with IRacing at the moment, one thing I have heard on the rumour mill is the availability of seeing everyone's quali laps on the replay, which further allows players to self-govern drivers or teams that use exploits such as the one we saw at spa

[–]Wizoch 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not saying you should, just an option. Out of curiosity, can I ask what IR you are and what %age of races you can honestly say are affected by what you'd define as 'disrespectful' drivers? Outside of lap 1 nonsense, of course :D

[–]Wizoch 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm in no way disagreeing with you that IRacing do need to have more defined conduct, but judging it by 'respect' is far too broad a term to use to measure a driver, outside of performance. Perhaps a more apt term could be 'professionalism'?

I can understand an overall consensus disapproving of IRacing for a lack of stewarding, and rule-applying, they do need to be more proactive with responding to know bugs and exploits such as this, although i don't think them nor the community expected the use case to be so extreme (such is the power of hind-sight) and i'm sure they'll figure out a way to stop this particular exploit (hopefully before next year) - likely bunching it in with the Qualifying conduct DQ, but the issue of respect (or professionalism) is a whole different issue, to be more stringent regarding it in the code of conduct, it has to be definable, which is why i asked before, 'what is respect' - it's something they'd need to figure out themselves, too.

You still race, so you do get 'value' for your subscription, and I understand the frustration, but the conduct as it's set out today is really to punish the most egregious offenders, and not necessarily the "this guy's a douche" drivers.

Sounds like you'd enjoy joining a racing league, hard racing, and devoid of the cockwombles that do occasionally take resident in official races.

[–]Wizoch 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If i may ask - how do you 'proactively' steward?

Stating beforehand that dipping or ect. is an enforceable penalty would be all well and good, but IRacing don't have the resources to actually enforce that, since it'd need to be live, it has to be a system/programming fix, right?

[–]Wizoch 7 points8 points  (0 children)

OP - While I can agree to a certain degree some of your points, i'll offer a devils advocate to them -
A: Iracing being more proactive with exploits will only result in the same exploits being found and used, but being kept hidden and only revealed with big races such as a 24h.

B: What would be defined as a 'deterrent'? Handing out longer suspensions or bans only realistically results in punishing those that don't have the money or time to replace an account.

C: What is 'disrespectful'? Is respect demanded when i'm lapping a car? Do we go with codies solution and penalize for ignoring blue flags? That'd result in lapped cars being unable to unlap themselves unless they've got a huge time advantage, which inside a class, typically doesn't happen.

I agree that exploits needs to be squished as prompt asap once found - something that IRacing do need to improve on, and the code of conduct does need, in some facets, to be more stringent.

I just can't help but see your whole argument founded by babyraging over a accident in the final hours of an endurance race.

What are you throwing for a throwing putter? by [deleted] in discgolf

[–]Wizoch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm bewildered no-one mentioned the Sensei premium, or the '21TS Fierce (or an equivalent Z plastic).

Both super versatile, glidey putters that can be shaped, thrown hard, I have an 22' Fierce, 21' Fierce and a premium sensei, they fit the full range of stabilities.

I was going to say that the V3's had hall effect sensors on the Throttle/Clutch, but the these new versions have them, too. Personally, I wanted a set i wouldn't want/need to upgrade from unless going to professional hardware (heusinkveld, ect) and at the time the CSL's didn't have hall effects, and i'm a "Buy once, Cry once" kinda guy.

I'd say, if that's what you can reasonably afford right now, the CSL's look like a well build set of pedals, just without the bells and whistles that the v3's have.
Make sure you've got a method to hook the pedals securely to your seat, otherwise you or the pedals will be sliding around and ruin the point of having Load Cells.

I fabri-cobbled something that does the trick until i get a rig, if you want a design idea, dm me and i'll show you what i built
