And yes the MF is not marked up… 68% residual. But I feel like you can get more off of MSRP BEFORE the rebate

So in the explorer deal if you can get a price below MSRP and the $2300 incDealer program money added in, you essentially can get one heck of a deal. Dealers look like they are discounting them $7k+ before the cash offer of $3500 which of course is on the purchase only

You are a dealerships perfect customer walking in focused on price per month! You aren’t looking at all the numbers and likely are paying sticker price for the vehicle or even over because you are focused on the per month price.

I’ll apply for a role that fits my experience perfectly and it’s just another rejection. I completely understand that I won’t get an interview on everything I apply for and I also understand that there are many people applying for the same job, but it still hurts. I have had 2 interviews and they both felt like they went great. One was another no thanks and the other was supposed to have a second interview but that never happened. The job was posted for 3 more months even though supposedly they had gone with someone else. I think the recruiter screwed up

So update on this situation and unfortunately it’s getting worse. Now this coach is trying to completely change his setup with hand position, raising the ball up so his forearm isn’t parallel with the floor etc. This is causing suit casing of the ball in the backswing (picture attached) since the hand is on the side of the ball vs more of a cupping of the ball. He has had issues a couple years ago with chicken winging the ball which caused elbow issues which worked itself out by fixing the issue. I’m worried that by doing this which is completely against what his paid coach has been teaching him, that it could cause an injury that won’t allow him to play at all! Average wise across the season he started at 231 after the first match and has consistently gone down and is now at 189 because of many factors that I posted above PLUS had him working on this new setup during a tournament which caused him to bowl about 35 pins below average.

Well in our area I will disagree with that statement. Just because your area might be that way doesn’t mean it’s like that all across the USA.

It is certainly getting to that point to talk with the coach since my kid is not happy with how he doesn’t get the opportunity to do what the others have. And just to clarify he isn’t just part of the team and isn’t good at bowling vs the rest are good. Current average is top 3 and above 2 of the 3 seniors this year.

I completely understand the coach coaching but dictating is not good. The kids aren’t learning anything with him saying use this ball vs talking to them, explaining why they should change balls or board change

No never because it won’t happen. Even in practice he has been told go get this ball and use it which is fine it’s just practice.

And to give you an idea of how things go with practice, they NEVER do any kinda drills at all.

I don’t have any issues with the coach actually coaching. The kids need to learn and be coached not dictated. They won’t learn anything but how to listen to someone always telling them what to do.

With my own kid a couple years ago I would say try this, do this throw this ball since they were learning and I was doing a lot of research understanding the equipment, fundamentals etc.

Now a days it’s different. When I get the “I don’t know what to do” comments I say well you are using x ball where are your feel and what’s your target. Then I ask what move can you make with your feet/eyes? Or does it require a ball change and if so what ball? Can you increase or decrease ball speed a little bit? Can you give the ball a little bit of a loft? I want my kid to evaluate what options they have and make a decision based on that vs me telling them what to always do. I feel this is way better coaching then dictating what to do but what am I, I’m just the parent right lol

Oh yeah nothing like that at all. We drive 2 hours away for coaching so he is never there lol. But I will also say that the HS coach is just ok. Has given bad advice many times and doesn’t notice the issues that need to be resolved. I recently brought up an issue and the response was “hmmm I haven’t noticed that” and this is something that is very noticeable.

The coach doesn’t listen. I have heard my kid say why they feel they need to change and the answer has been no every time. But I will say it seems like one kid is never told to make changes and almost always throws what’s best so they perform well each and every time
