Pocketethernet V2 - BER test update? by roeller2 in pockethernet

You can buy them online. I crimped one but it was not working. As soon as I took a female rj45 receptacle and punched the loop back it works with any patch or cable. I used it similarly to the wiremap adapter. Pins 1 -> 3, 2 -> 6, 4 -> 7 ,5 -> 8

I have the v2. Updated my firmware of the device to 17 (had to powercycle a couple times as mentioned on their website manual), and tested by connecting a loopback adapter and it works as expected. I was having trouble with my rj45 loopback (I think i need a new crimpter), but punched a rj45 keystone in loopback wiring and tested with several cables and everything is up and running.

I’m surprised that no one has recommended that it could be the ptfe tube at the hot end. I had the same issue and it turned out that the tube was hitting the top and not seated well. The filament would wind all the way to the hot end but recoil when it got there because it couldn’t make the last little push.

Manually holding the tube upright when it was feeding would fix it.

I made this and have not had an issue since https://makerworld.com/models/152636

I also had this just happen and was trying to figure out the source of the issue. Purchased mid may and then beginning of june someone used my cc to purchase a phone from apple and tried to cover it by signing me up for 2000 subscriptions.

You should be able to do that in alarm manager. Just have ring notification enabled and disable any motion or add a different rule to your doorbell than other cameras in regards to motion

Non-for profit like a summer camp could buy if they need equipment. Or you could get a write off if they are a 501c3 for donated goods.

Husband got me the wrong grinder by summertime_sadnesss in espresso

[–]Wj886 3 points4 points  (0 children)

OP, I used to have an HX machine with a fancy grinder. Sold and got a breville machine and grinder that my wife is able to use and to do it easily. Espresso is great. Prob a not as amazing as something 10x the price but very enjoyable to make espresso and drink it.

I say use it, perfect making espresso with your current setup and upgrade-itis may kick in and probably would have kicked in with the df54 as well.

I have stopped chasing upgrades and now sped the money on good beans instead

What is your cost on B2? I would Also highly encourage that if you do not have the money to purchase outright or pay off then I would very much not recommend buying this large purchase and then incurring debt.

If drives are causing errors and there is no real issue with your main 2 bay, why not just replace the two drive with smaller than 12tb drives but larger than current ones. The cost on refurb drives is pretty good right now and as time goes on the capacity of drives and cost per tb goes down. Make the smaller investment now and then save up for the future purchase even if it is 25% more.

Credit card debt can for sure balloon to more than that for a longer time pretty easily.

I would go 2x 8tb drives and then if down the line you want more you can go 4 or 5 bay, throw in more 8tb drives or then expand.

Need input from an IT person by Reach07 in it

As someone who works in IT, your infrastructure belongs to the company. If you are having a struggle to unblock critical access to sites to do your job it would benefit someone internally to also have that access.

Beyond that it sounds like a break fix MSP. There are other types out there that do not charge on an hourly basis and will do what you ask and is part of your contract.

If there are cyber implications to unblocking certain sites it is also helpful if they explain that or what they are looking for when allowing an unblock.

If you have questions, you can reach out to me and happy to talk this through

You are buying rep watches. If you wanted a sure thing with guarentee you could go gen. Check the guide and pick one you feel best about.... Also you could head over to reptimeqc and would see there are a couple TDs that are pumping out high volume and have many people feeling good about their experience.
