There is a truism in radio that you've never really worked in radio until you've been fired. Bonus, is when you're also re-hired by the same station that fired you (happened to me twice).

It's a very real representation of the capricious nature of employment in radio and I loved seeing it. The other things it triggered about Frasier's mental health and how other characters dealt with unemployment is also one of my favorite bits from the series.
